Chapter 9

ANTIS POV

I look down at dark tears rolling down my face and splashing on to his cheeks. I gently Rock him back and forwards my face buried in his hoodie.

"Dark....please open your eyes"

I cough out and tangle my fingers in his hair I gently rub my tears of his cheeks and shake my head.

"YOU! YOU DID THIS!!"

I scream and look up seeing Cry standing at the edge of the sewers spinning a gun in his fingers putting it away he had a sword or a knife of some sort on his belt we had been warned about demon hunters when we young but I never thought Cry would betray us...well Jack mainly.

"I did what had to be done"

He replies calmly moving hair from his face. I look down at dark and stretch my wings out in sadness I kiss his forehead and move his hair from his face. His skin was starting to get cold.

CRYS POV

I look at jacks darker counter part it pained me to have to do this but it's our job to protect the mortals from them I never thought that I would have to kill them I felt so much guilt already.Sighing I Slowly raising my gun again I aim it at Antis chest closing my eyes and taking a few deep breaths.

"Dark you can't leave me like this come on!!"

I hear his sobs and sigh feeling terrible I pull the trigger. Anti moves his wing to his chest just as the bullet was about to impact. I stand there a little shocked Anti glares at me before standing and spreading his wings to the max.

ANTIS POV

"Get the fuck away from me Ryan"

I say calmly a small smirk on my lips as I close my eyes I lower my head and laugh a little

"Jack I know your in there please"

It pleased me to see a mighty demon hunter like Cry trying to reason with me. Trying to get through to Jack but no not this time jacks gone he's never coming back. I'm insane. I snap my head up my eyes giving off a black smoke my teeth grew larger.

"I suggest you LEAVE"

My voice comes out broken and distorted. I was so distraught I had just seen my best friend,my partner in crime, My lover. Get shot.

"Make me! I took an oath to protect the world from you and by god I'm gonna stick to it even if it means having to kill you. I feel bad enough for killing Mark"

I raise a eyebrow and snap my wings forward causing a massive wave off wind to send water and cry flying backwards I hear him yell out in surprise and smirk. I see him hit the wall but get straight back up he fires the gun twice and I simply cover my self with my wing my eyes glow green still giving the black substance off. I jump and flap my wings flying into the shadows above

"he's waisted four bullets meaning he only has two"

I think to my self I start to spin around in the air. My rage uncontrollable the water starts to form in a pool coming up around me I spin faster and close my eyes as I move my hands out and scream sending echo vibrations along with the water twister over to cry I land my head down and on one knee my powers getting stronger by the second once the water dies down I look up opening my eyes and not seeing cry I sigh a small smile on my face I look over to see dark I put my hand over his wound and close my eyes focusing.

"You really are a determined little devil aren't you Anti Well your sick of feeling numb....your not the only one"

I snarl.

"Well again anger and agony are better than misery"

I keep my eyes closed and keep my focus

"I know you can hear me? Am I under your skin yet have I angered you enough?!"

I snap my eyes open and spin around grabbing cry by the throat he yells out and try's to push me of

"One way ticket upwards"

I snarl and grab his shirt and flap my wings using as much power as I can I use my free to cover my face as I break through the concrete cutting my arm up. Cry screams and I pull him up to me. Once we where a decent hight I look him in the eyes.

"Your no ones concern now. No ones gonna miss you. Now you see this drop?"

I ask him and he looks down

"Yeah?"

"You won't die from this. Only get really badly. Like life threateningly injured but not death you deserve this you didn't even hesitate"

I snap and my grip losses letting go of crys shirt before he drops he slices my right arm I hiss and cover it watching him fall. I quickly fly back to Dark putting my hands on his chest and focus. The gloomy and black sewers get filled with green light I look down at my wound seeing it glowing then my eyes move to my hands to see them glowing.

"I hope your grateful when you awake"

I laugh and push down hard on his chest screaming as most off my strength and energy goes into darks chest. Jump starting his heart. I hear him gasp for air before my mind goes fuzzy and I fall to my side.

"I'm always gonna be your lifeline dark shame you'll have no memory of what happened or who I am"

I mutter and close my eyes. Opening them again as my wings retract back into my. Back and I turn into normal me.
