Wait,Arnold is running from me!I can't believe I did that! Lila thought to herself watching Arnold run from her."Arnold!"she yelled but if he heard her he didn't even slow down.

Lila began to walk away not knowing where she was going but when she realized what neighborhood she was in she ran to the home of a person she knew could help.

Lila knocked nicely on the door,"I wish Olga was here" she whispered to herself remembering her 'big' sis,but this would do for her predicament."Lila?!What on earth are you doing here?!"Helga said once she opened the door,"Hey Helga,I know your just ever-so busy but if I could just talk to you for a minute"her voice started out sweet but slowly sounded more and more despret.Helga was very confused when she looked at Lila's face she saw a tear drop down from her eyes."Um...sure come in"Helga hesitated to move out of the door way,"Oh thank just ever-so much"Lila thanked Helga,

"Okay I will help you but could you stop with the ever-so crap,I can beryl understand you when that's all you say"

"Okay,I'll try just ev-,I mean, I will try my best"

"That's better so what's up?"

Lila remembered what she came here for,"It's just horrible,I told him I loved him.I just had to know if we had a chance before some one else stole his heart.I didn't know what to do,so I came here"

"Your kidding!The only guy I have ever seen turn you down was Arnold,and he regretted it afterward though."Helga said laughing

"Helga I know you like him,you told me remember"

Helga stopped laughing and looked down,"Yea"she said.Than she lifted her head and started on Lila again.

"Alright this is not about how mixed up my world is because no one has time for that,so who is this fellow who broke ya?Do I need to fix him for you?"Helga smiled holding up ol' Betsy offering Lila a beating to this guy.

"It was Arnold"

Helga stopped smiling and looked away from her fist and at Lila,"Are you serious?NO!Your pulling my leg"

"I'm afraid it's ever-so true"she said not realizing she said ever-so,but Helga didn't care she was in aw.

"I thought you didn't like him"

"I thought you did"

"Well yea,but you rejected him before I told you"

"Actually...I already knew.I heard you saying some poetry about a football headed love god and put two and two together."

Helga started to blush,"So you decided to tell him now?"

Lila nodded.

"Why?"

"I think... he loves you"Lila said simply.

Helga almost fell out of her chair but caught herself before she did.

"WHAT!NO WAY!he likes me!Oh my gosh!I'm so sorry Lila!eep!"Helga just kept screaming,though her tone of voice kept changing.She went from mad to confused to pity and just over whelming joy.

"I can't believe it. Lila I am going to try to give you the least selfish advice I can but giving me that information has made it very hard"she said putting a hand on Lila's shoulder and Lila giggled even though she felt awful.Making someone else feel good felt so good no matter how bad she felt.

"Did he say no?"

"Well....he ran away"

Helga raised an eyebrow,

"Alright.Well,you should find out if he likes you back even if the answer hurts you.If he says no then you cry and you can mope as much as you want but trust me not knowing is a lot harder, I know this from personal experience.Besides there are so many fish in the sea that will do anything just to get a date with you."

Lila nodded,even though her advice wasn't quite serious she was right.

"Thank Helga.I'm so glad I came here."

"No problem as long as no one knows about this.I still have a reputation and a career.Same terms as last time.You tell- I strangle"

"O-okay Helga I won't say a word"

Helga led Lila to the door and right before she left she wrapped her arms around Helga,"Thank you ever-so much Helga.We have had our differences but I still consider you a dear friend."Lila said,Helga hesitated but gave Lila small squeeze,"me too".Helga let go and Lila got off and walked out the door not noticing Arnold when she walked down Helga's stoop.
