Brook's POV
Okay this was totally not planned. Im in a car with jaydens mouth on mine. Why? I dont even know. I dont like him like that...I like him as a friend. But this is just gonna be really akward later on. I have to stop this.
" Jayden stop." I said in a stern but a soft voice. If that even makes sense.
" Whats wrong?" he said. His tone broke me.
" Jayden, i cant do this. I dont think of you as anything more than a friend. Im sorry..but you and me......were not exactly on the same level.." I said.
It was true. Jayden was the goofy, funny guy with those cheesy pick up lines, and messy hair. While I on the on the other hand, im wild and not the typical girl you see every day, and i take my job seriously, im strong and independent, and well he is not my type. And for him the perfect girl is the one's that laugh at everything he says and blushes for EVERYTHING and is still all cheery even when she's on her period.
Im nothing like that.
I know, since jayden is the son of my boss, hes suppose to be all strong and protective and shit, but thats what i love about him as a friend. Hes different and loves to accomplish his achievments and is like an adorable puppy when he does.
" Jayden im sorry but i really love our friend mode right now. Im not ready to move further."
" Do i not deserve atleast one chance?"
Well, hes got a point. But...when we kissed there was no sparks or butterflies or fireworks. It was just a kiss...that really didn't mean anything special to me.
But then....i can always try... Right?
" i'll think about it jay, i promise. But for now.....can we just get going to the agency."
I know we were suppose to stop and eat somewhere but i was not feeling it anymore. Alone with jayden eating food.... Just seems uncomfortable now that i know he likes me.
" Yea. Sure. Ofcourse. Right.. Uh didn't you wanna eat something or....?- " " No im not hungry anymore. But uh..thanks for asking.."
He just nodded. We sat in silence and said nothing. I was finally reaching for the radio, but we were already here. At the agency...
Im in trouble. As usual.
