" Macy please tell me your not wearing that." Cassie said in disappointed.
I looked down at my outfit. I had on a plain white tshirt and some old jeans and my black converse. I didn't think it was going to be a problem considering she never actually told me what we were doing, so I assumed that we would be doing a lot of walking and I wanted to be comfy.
" What you don't like it." I replied
" No. How are we going to pick up guys at the club if your walking around like a 15 year old girl."
" I'm 17 for your information and I like what I have on." I snapped
" But this would look so much better " she said while looking in my closet and pulling out the dress she bought me last year. It was a tight fiting white cocktail dress with lace around the edges. It was a bit too sexy for me but it was the same dress Cassie had on and it looked cute on her small figure but me I had an hour glass frame and the dress seemed to hug extra tight on my breast and butt.
" Put it on. " she said while trying to find matching shoes
I put it on not wanting to upset her anymore. She smiled at the sight of my outfit.
" Now lets do your hair and makeup." she squealed
39 minutes later I was club ready in Cassies eyes. We left my house and was on our way to downtown.
" Park over here " she squealed excitedly.
As soon as we got in I knew this was going to be a bit too much for me. The music was loud, people were dancing, and a lot of pda was happening. Get a room I thought to myself.
I looked around to talk to Cassie but some guy had already started dancing with her and I decided to just let her be.
I was standing, looking around at everyone having fun when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around to see who it was and I saw a guy smiling at me.
" Want to dance " he asked.
" I don't know you " I snapped at him
" My name's Austin Lilly, woukd you like to dance. " he said with a smirk on his face.
"My names Macy Brimming, no I wouldn't. Now leave me alone." I snapped back harsher then attended
I walked away before Austin decided to say anything else to me. He looked like the typical American boy. Blonde hair, blue eyes, tall, probably plays football an he talked like he owns the place. Definitely not what I woul be into if I was looking for someone.
Lost in my thought I tripped over someone's foot.
" You okay" I heard someone say .I looked up and saw another guy but he was different he seemed down to earth and seemed like he was actually sincere about what he said.
" Yeah I'm fine " I replied.
" Im James" he said
" Macy, and its nice to meet you. "
" Would you like to dance " he asked
" Sure " I said a little too excitedly
James led me to the dance floorWe were dancing for no longer than five minutes when a girl tapped on my shoulder. I turned around to see what her deal was.
" Why are you dancing with my man " she demanded
I turned to James amd he said " You're no longer my girlfriend. Get over over it"
"Fine" she said " but im not gonna let her have a good time ". She turned around and grabbed a cup from someone and threw the drink on me.
I didn't even look to see who saw. I went running through the doors. This is exactly why I don't deal with guys, all they do is bring drama. I thought to myself.
"Macy, Macy" I heard someone call. I turned thinking it was James trying to apologize but soon realized it was Austin
" What do you want, my night is already bad please don't make it any worse" I begged.
" You look cold. Why don't you come with me to this coffe shop and I'll get you something warm to drink." He said
" No, my mom told me not to talk to strangers." I said with a smirk on my face
" I guess she didn't teach not to dance with strangers with crazy girlfriends. One cup of coffe is all I'm asking ing for"
"One cup , then you better leave me alone"
" One cup with me and you won't want me to leave you alone. " he said smirking
Whatever, I thought to myself. This guy's a total douche bag. He's so full of himself. Just one cup and he's out of my life for good.
" Ladies first " he said while holding the door open for me.
"Thanks"
" No thank you for coming on this date with me"
" Who said this was a date "
" You never said it wasn't"
I couldn't stop blushing after he said that. He was right I never said it wasn't a date. This guy was getting to me and I needed to stop before more drama came. I decides to pick a table at the frint of the cafe right up against the window so we werent entirely alone.
" Good spot " he said " The view is perfect and everyone can see us on our date now" Austin said completely back firing my whole plan.
" You guys ready to order " the waitress said.
" We'll have two coffees please" Austin replied.
" Comming right up " she said while walking away.
" So why did that girl throw her drink on you" Austin demanded.
But before I could answer hot coffe was poured on my lap.
" Im so sorry" the waitress cried.
"Thats okay" I said. Then I got up from the table to avoid further embarrassment. While leaving I noticed Austin tip five hundred dollars to the waitress. Who in the world has that type of money to just give away. I decided to head back torwards the club so I can take Cassie home but when I got inside she was no where to be found and then I realized I had no way to get home. She took the car with her. When I got back outside Austin was waiting for me.
"I'll take you home if you want." he said
"No I'm fine I just have to find my friend."
" No I insist, let me take you home" he said
"Okay"
"Right this way " he said pointing to a limo.
So this is why he's so cocky. He's rich. He probably always have girls begging to go on dates with him, I thought while getting in. Well he can't swoon me with his richness. I can't believe I almost fell for him. I can't believe I was so foolish. This is it, this will be the last time I'm near him. Good bye Austin.
For the whole ride we didn't talk and I was thankful for that. When we got to my house I bid my farewell and hurried up inside.
