Chapter Three: Missing Phone

When I woke up in the morning and looked outside I noticed my car was back in it's place, Cassie must have brought it back sometime last night. Uhhh, I didn't want to think about last night again. I got a drink poured on me and I went on a date with a rich douche bag. Cassies going to love to hear about this.

I reach for my phone in my purse but noticed it was missing, where in the world is it. Then I noticed a small yellow sticky note. I picked it up and it said, if I wanted my phone to meet him at starbuck at 11:00 am sharp. Austin, I thought to myself, he must have taken my phone when I wasn't looking. He's so arrogant, what makes him think I want to see him again. I was debating whether or not to go but decided that I really needed my phone.

So I got ready and made my way to Starbucks, then I realized it didn't say which one, since he now knows where I live I decided to head to the one that was closer.

When I git inside at 11:00 sharp Austin was no where in sight. Where could he be I thought to myself.

" Hey Macy " I heard a familiar voice tell me.

I turned around saw that it was James. "Hey James" I replied

" Listen sorry about last night. I didn't know she was going to act like that. I swear to you though I'm not with her anymore." James explained

" It's okay and I believe you."

" So you live around here" James said trying to make small talk

"Umm, yeah. I go to Lake View High actually."

" I go to Clearwater High." He said with pride

" Play any sports " I asked but before he could answer Austin came over.

" I play soccer, football and lacrosse"

Austin replied

" That question wasn't for you " I snapped.

" I play baseball and I run track" James replied to me, completely ignoring Austin.

" I love track. " I replied

" Well then you should come to my meet on monday. Its at the school."

" Yeah I'll definitely check it out "

"Well I gotta get back home , my mom's waiting for her coffee " he aaid while getting up and pulling out a peice of paper from his pocket. " Also here's my number in case you want to hang out or just talk."

" Thanks, talk to you later "

" Alright bye"

I watched James walk away completely forgetting Austin was standing by me.

" What do you want", I snapped at him.

" Did you forget I have your phone." he said with a grin on his face

" Don't just stand there smiling like an idiot. Give me my phone."

He tapped on his empty pockets and shrugged. " I guess I left it in my car, you'll have to come with me to get it" he said still grinning.

I follow him out to his car and was amazed by what u saw. He drove a Buggatti, I've always wanted one but I know ill never be able to afford one. He looks at me and I quickly shake off my excitement, he starts digging in the glove compartment and does another shrug. " I guess I left it at home, looks like you'll have to follow me there if you want it".

" I'm not going anywhere with you. Give me my ohone" I yell

" Guess you don't want your phone cause your not getting it tilk you come with me"

He better be happy I cant afford to get a new one. I hopped in his car and hoped for the best as he zoomed onto the highway.
