Snow day

Lilys POV

"Yay no school" I scream as I walk though the door. My friends all stare at me, well my friends and the rest of the class. See the thing was my house is well THE house, all the people from my class are living with me because um how do I say this... I live in an orphanage that's run by my mom and dad. There um a little on the bright side of life, well since the attack.

Oh well instead of just sitting here and dreaming off why not I tell you about me. Well my name is Lily, but everyone calls me sparky, long story short I like lightning. Ok next is body type: tall, small chest thin legs. Hair: blonde shoulder length silver bangs. favorite things: ringette, blue, wolves, lightning,chilly, art... oh and weapons. that covers it all... Um if we keep my parents out of the talk. See the orphanage is not my home. I don't belong there. I call everyone family, but do I mean it... No. I want to find my real parents, the real ones. many people have tried to clam me, but I'm "one with the wild beast that kills the soul." My so called 'mom and dad' say to me. most of us don't belong there.

It's been 5 days since the attack, most are still questioning how we didn't die from the bomb that blow up half the city. but the one thing I am still looking for is my parents, just any sight of them would ease my fear and anger. I had lost all contact with them when I was 7, my memory was erased. "Just give up already" Mitchell said to me as I looked though my memory book. "why I see you've tried to find yours" I said as more photos of blurred faces appeared in my head. I could picture him and his parents with his older brother, he's told us on how he wants revenge for what the vampires did.

I looked over to the left of me to see Ashlie crying her eyes out. "hey what's  the crying about?" olivia asked her, she pulled out a locket with a blurred face, I'd never seen it before but I'm guessing she was going though the after-shock of waking up from the explosion. "I... I thought it was my mom b-but I'm not sure anym-more" she stuttered, then Daniel walked over and kissed her cheek "you'll be fine dear" it's so funny cause Daniel and Ashlie are dating, olivia and Kiran are dating, and then there's me dating Mika. the other girls in the class gave us ship names. Danlie, olivan, and mikly.
The three boys are best friends and me Ashlie and olivia are best friends, well the boys have a bigger group. I went to give her a hug but she shoved me away. "Ash why are you being like this?" I ask, she's been like this all week. "Because... Never mind you wouldn't understand." She put the locket back in her pocket and went to her room.  "What's wrong with her?" I asked, Daniel looks over at me in fear "EVERYONE FIND A HIDING SPOT" mom and dad yelled. I ran and slid under the bed, wasn't the smartest thing to do. "AHHHHHH ITS UNDER THE BED" I screamed and ran out, I remember hitting my head on the wall and felt someone grab me hand. When I woke up I was in a bed, a boys bed! I looked up and there was posters of lacrosse players, I sat up and there was a snowboard in the corner of the room! I'M IN MITCHELL'S ROOM!!! I tried to get up but he pushed me down, "shhhhh you need to sleep" he whispered it me "why am I in your room?" I asked but he grabbed my wrist and pushed me under the bed and he hid in the closet.

Someone barged though the door, they rampaged though his stuff, he ran out with a lacrosse stick and started violently hitting it. "Haha puny human your lacrosse stick won't save you"  the thing says, I noticed a box under the bed it read 'to Mitchell from mom and dad' I opened it and there was a dog tag that read 'in the darkness you will hold the light' beside it was a note 'grasp it in your palm and night rider will appear'. I passed it to Mitchell just as his lacrosse stick broke. "What do I do with this?" He looked at me confused "hold it in your hand and someone or something will appear" I said, he pulled it into his hand and went to punch. He punch the thing once and then a 5 foot sword appeared in his hand. He stabbed the thing and it turned to dust. In the district we heard mom and dad asking if everyone was ok. He helped me out from under the bed and we agreed not to tell anyone about the sword. I walked out of his room hoping no one would see me leaving his room.

I ran over to see Mika in his room, but saw a horrifying scene "GET AWAY FROM HIM" I screamed at the top of my lungs, there was a vampire biting him. I ran at it until it disappeared. "No Mika please No" I cried into his chest. He looked up at me, his eyes were red instead of  beautiful blue  and he had fangs. "It's ok lily" he says to me "no it's not ok I need you here and human!" I cried, he got up and started going to the window. "Where are you going?." I asked "well if I'm a vampire and your human, it-its just not safe For you or anyone else" he said as tears roll down my face.  "Where are you going to go?" I asked before he jumped out the window "I don't know, just away from humans"
That would probably be the last time I see Mika, he kissed me and jumped out the window.
