Today was a day I had been waiting for since I joined this school. My one and only friend from the other side of the country was going to come visit me. She was moving back here for the entire year. Aurora was one of my childhood friends, she was the only person i could say anything to so ofcourse she knows about Justin, just not the teacher part. I'm sorry for not mentioning her before, but I kind of forgot with all the school stuff and flirtings with Justin. It was a Saturday, so we decided to go to a party some random guy was throwing, everyone who wanted to come could come. It was 3PM, and I was about to meet Aurora to go shopping, yes, very cliché. But I needed some nice clothes, I had been looking like a hobo this entire time.

"Roraaaa!" I screamed when I saw my best friend prancing in my direction, screaming like a 5-year-old. I hugged her tightly as we jumped up and down. "How have you been?!" She asked, I shrugged and gave her a look that said 'good, but not great'. "C'mon, spill the beans babe." I sighed, 'Rore I know it's stupid. But I'm starting to like the guy." Aurora gasped, "you mean Justin?" I immediately covered her mouth with my hand, "Don't say his name out loud girl!" Aurora laughed, "why so quiet? He's just a guy." I tried to hide my nervousness and laughed it off, "yeah you're right! Let's go get ice cream." The second I said those words I knew I shouldn't have. Aurora loved ice cream and there was only one parlor near my house, the one where Justin worked.
"Hope, what has gotten into you? You're acting so nervous and anxious all of a sudden. Please tell me what's really going on." I pondered for a bit, should I tell Rora? I decided to keep quiet for a just a little bit more and started talking about different stuff as we walked to the ice cream parlor.
Maybe Justin didn't have a shift at this hour, or maybe he didn't work on this day! That could be the case, right? I bit my lip as I opened the door for Aurora. I quickly let her order first without looking at the guy behind the counter. I hear a low voice speak, "what flavor would you like, miss?" It wasn't Justin and I sighed in relief. "Strawberry please."
We took our ice creams and sat ourselves in one of the booths. Aurora and I were just laughing and chatting about little things until I saw Rora's eyes widen.
"Quick, Hope! Look behind you! That guy is the hottest freakin' guy I've ever seen you have to turn around!" I turned around very, very slowly as I hoped that my eyes would meet with an entirely different guy than the one I had been dreading to see today. My eyes took in the guy behind me, muscular, golden hair, hazel eyes, tattoos. It was indeed Justin. I tried to look away as fast as possible and nervously told Aurora he looked okay. "Okay? Are you out of your mind? He's a god!" She whispered loudly. "Shut up, Rora! He might hear!"
My head spun around quickly as I heard his voice nearing our table, "no chocolate for the lady today?" I refused to look into his eyes but I could just hear that he had the biggest smirk on his face. Rora's mouth dropped as he walked away. "That's Justin. I can see it from 20 thousand miles away, Hope. Tell me that that's him." I sighed in defeat, "yes, you're right." Aurora squealed like a little 5-year-old, "you're so lucky!"
I wasn't going to drop the teacher bomb just yet. I sighed quietly, "not quite, Rora."
