Together. The word kept playing over and over in my head. He literally meant we would go search Aurora together but I couldn't help but imagine Justin and I actually together, which was very bad. My own damn teacher! I shouldn't like him. Wait, I didn't like him! Why did I think that?
We were roaming the streets, calling Aurora's name, but after 3 hours of searching she still wasn't anywhere in sight. The sun was already rising and tiny diners along the road had already started to welcome early guests for breakfast. I wasn't hungry at all, since my best friend was probably lying somewhere in a dark alley completely knocked out. Justin kept telling me I should eat something and drink water to get all the alcohol out of my system, and let me tell you I felt like it was never going to leave my system. I finally gave in as Justin dragged me inside a diner. We were greeted by a lady who looked like she was in her early fifties. She was wearing an apron that matched the red/white theme of the diner. "What can I get you two early birds?" She smiled. "We'll take the pancakes and some water." Justin chimed. We sat down in a booth near a window in case Aurora would pass the diner. I nudged Justin, "are you choosing what I'm going to eat now? What's next, feeding me? I'm not a child." I smirked. He shook his head, "I don't know about that, kid." He said. He didn't look like he was joking, which made me a little sad inside.
// Justin's POV //
Why did I just call her a child? I knew she really wasn't, she was 18. A woman. A beautiful woman. And I really, really shouldn't be thinking that. I saw her eyes focusing on the table, not wanting to look up to meet my eyes anymore after I said that. "Hey, I didn't mean that, Hope." I whispered. She looked up and I was met with her iconic smirk again, "you better didn't."
The lady placed our pancakes in front of us and I saw that Hope was actually really hungry as she immediately dug in, and so did I. We were enjoying our food, throwing eachother some smiles, and sipping from our waters when we heard the door open and close again.
// Hope's POV //
Justin and I closed our eyes as we listened to the voice at the counter, hoping it would be Aurora. It was a guy, so we sighed in defeat. Justin carefully placed his hand on mine, which made my skin tingle. "We'll find her, Hope." I smiled weakly, "I hope so." He rememberd he had is hand placed on mine so he quickly grabbed his drink.
My head spun around quickly as I heard a girl's voice. I dropped my water and flew into Aurora's arms, hugging her tightly while crying into the crook of her neck. "Where the hell were you, Rora?" I cried. She looked like hell. "I don't know! One second you were holding my hair and the other you were gone so I went looking for you outside!" She cried. We kept hugging for another 5 minutes, and then we heard a quiet cough coming from my booth. "I see you've found eachother again so, I'm going to scoot." I walked over to Justin and hugged him tightly, "thankyou." I whispered into his ear while hugging him. I felt him stiffen, but then he gave in and hugged me back. "You're welcome." He smiled. He paid for our food without giving me the chance to pay for my own part and walked out.
"Damn, Hope, I can see the sparkles in his eyes when he looks at you." I scoffed at Aurora, "yeah right. There's no time for fantasies now." I said. "So you've fantasized about it?" She smirked. I playfully hit her, "shut up, Rora. You look like hell and you need to hydrate yourself." I said in a mom-like tone as I ordered some more food and water for my best friend.

Fanfiction"What school is this even," I mumbled while looking at the guy's notebook who was standing in the doorway and blocking my path, I tilted my head to the side to read his name, "Justin." I seethed. "I'm already late and where's the god damn teacher!"...
