Chapter One

Alessandro POV

"Alessandro how do you feel about being the world's greatest food inventor." a random reporter said to me. "It feels pretty nice I" i replied cockily. "OMG he's sooo hot !!!" "Can you have my babies" "AHHHHHH Alessandro WE LOVE YOU!!!" Random girls screamed around me. I chuckled which just caused them to chant my name louder "ALESSANDRO ALESSANDRO ALESSANDRO!!!!!!"

"ALESSANDRO Wake up dumbass!" my little brother said as he hit me with a pillow. "AWhhhhh aw it was just a dream." I said sleepily. "I wanna go back I wanna go back." I faked cried. My little brother named Antonio just rolled his eyes and looked at me angrily. Honestly even when he was angry he was just so adorable but he always got angrier when I said that. "Everyone is waiting for you to wake up so we could eat." he huffed angrily. "Why didn't you guys just start without me" i said while pulling on a pair of pants. "Cause mom said to get you now lets go." he said impatiently. When I finally found a clean shirt to wear we headed downstairs and i was greeted by the annoyed faces of my nonni, my genitori and my other 6 siblings. "Morning everyone." I said sheepishly. They all rolled their eyes and grumbled under their breaths. The only one who was actually happy to see me was my nonna and for woman at 92 she seemed pretty cool in my book.

We said our prayer before the meal and then started to eat. My eldest sister and the oldest child started to talk about her morning which made me wish i watching paint dry. Her name was Maria and she was what you called the perfect yet annoying child that could do no wrong then came the twins Angelo and Armani which were the two most opposite people you could ever know, then me the most amazing person ever, then my preppy other annoying sister Abrianna, then my quiet and lovable sister Valentina, my favourite sibling Antonio and last but not least the baby of the family my youngest brother Marco. Then there were my genitori Mariella and Romeo and my Nonni Alessandra and Sergio. Our family was pretty big and we still had relatives that came over every now and then.

I sighed as i continued to eat my breakfast and looked at everyone. My family didn't really like or pay much attention to me besides my brother Antonio, my sister Valentina and my Nonna but i didn't expect much i was a middle child that did nothing but laze around all day. Everyone else had their own specialty or place in the world Maria was learning how to take care of the family restaurant, Angelo was an amazing artist, Armani was the best football player in the town, Abrianna was an amazing cook, Valentina was exceptionally smart, Antonio was great musician even my little brother Marco had something going for him and that was his already good dancing ability. What did I have an obsession with creating food that didn't even taste good. Each time I made something and had my family test it I would fail miserably. Nonna always told me to never give up but when your 19 and have nothing going for you, you tend to get a little worried. "Alessandro you okay." my little sister asked me breaking my train of thought. I smiled at her and said i was fine and then said "Wanna hear a joke?" which caused the entire family to groan. I guess i could scratch comedian off the list.

When I finished put my plate in the sink and walked outside to get some fresh air. The one thing I loved about my house was it took me about five minutes to get to the beach. As I walked I was greeted by some children who made me promise to play with them later. I heard a few insulting whispers from but ignored it and continued on. When I got there I saw my best friends Lilianna and Luciano looking at something in the sand. I walked over and sneaked up behind them "Hey guys whatcha doing !!" I yelled in their ears. They immediately jumped up surprised and i laughed. "What the fu...." Luciano said before I tackled him. "Hey get off of me I don't swing that way." he said. I saw a couple of girls walk by one of them being Luciano's crush, Angelina one of the prettiest and nicest girls in town. So I did what any reasonable best friend would. "Oh Luci I missed you so much." I cooed while snuggling into his neck. The girls laughed and walked away while saying stuff like "there so cute".  He pushed me off him and Lilianna rolled her eyes trying to hold in a laugh. "I hate you so much Aless." he grumbled.  "Oh don't tell me we're breaking up." I faked cried and me and Lilianna burst out into laughter. He just rolled his eyes and said "We have to show you something."

Lili stopped laughing and said "Oh yeah come over here.". We walked over to the spot they were standing at before.  There was a small hole with an old book in it.  I gently picked it up and scanned through it gently. It was a recipe book that had some stuff i had never seen before.  "What is it?" Lili asked peering over my shoulder.  "Some kind of recipe book with some stuff I've never seen before." "Well let's take it back to our secret hideout and try some." Luci suggested. We nodded and left the beach.
