"Well I'll be damned," Jack said out loud as he finished reading the letter. "What is it Jack," Daniel asked heading his way toward Jack. "It's a letter from Mckenzie," Jack said as he had a faded smile slip across his face. "Oh I bet she's all worried about me and asks if I'm hurt or somethi-," Jack had punched Daniel before he could finish. "Yea um no, it's to me and she's asking how we've been, apparently her and Kyle broke up," Jack said reading back over the letter. "Hey little mans got a chance," Daniel said as he jumped up on jacks bunk. "Yea yea yea, whatever."
"Well write her back man."
"I will just chill, the second I get a chance."
"You have one right now, just do it," Daniel said as he threw a pen, paper and left the room.
Jack then started to write " Dear Mckenzie, I just got your letter today, don't know how long it's been so sorry if it's like a week or so. Anyways me and Daniel are doing fine, little cuts and bruises and maybe a bullet hole in the hand but nothing we can't handle. I'm sorry to hear about you and Kyle, I didn't think things would work out anyway so I tried to warn you. Anyways how have you been? Hopefully everyone is doing great, but how are you doing? Well I can't write for too much longer so I guess I'll end it here
                                            Sincerely,
                                                             Jack
"Well, now that that's done I guess I'll go clean my rifle or something," Jack said out loud as he walked out of the barracks. "Hey jimmy," Jack yelled to Daniel as he headed off to the rifle range. "Yea what's up Jack, you done writing to your girl friend-I mean to Mckenzie," Daniel yelled back attempting to get in jacks nerves. "Yea I'm done, let's go clean our rifles, mine is dirty as a dog," Jack said as he rolled his eyes at Daniels remark. "Yea just give me one second, let me show these chumps how baseball is really done," Daniel said as he got up to bat.
