Daniel got to the shooting range to see Jack already taken apart his rifle. "Holy hell, when was the last time you cleaned that thing," Daniel said as he saw jacks M14. "Yea I know right, it's like it's been buried in dirt and dug up again."
"No kidding, so you should probably clean your rifle more often," Daniel said as he started to take apart his rifle. "Yea I do don't I," Jack said as he glanced at Daniel. "Hey press the safety and then flip the chamber door and then pull the barrel out of the stock," Jack said as he looked back down to finish his rifle. "Oh yea, thanks."
"Once we're finished here you wanna go and get some-," jack was interrupted by a Japanese suicide bomber. "SHINIMASU!!!" KABOOM. The bomb was denoted and a bunch of debris was filling the dirt bunker in. "JACK, WHERE ARE YOU!" Daniel was looking around for Jack in the dust filled room. As the dust cleared Daniel found Jack. "Jack-holy-don't worry bud we'll get you back on your feet." Jack was in severe pain and was extremely wounded. His arm was in pretty bad shape. Jack was rushed to the medical tent. "Don't worry Jack, you'll be fine trust me," Daniel said although he already knew the odds. Soon, for after what seemed like an hour, a helicopter came by to pick up Jack. Then like that, it was all over. His best friend injured, apart of the base destroyed, and he's now all alone surrounded by strangers and no one he knew even though it had been a year in the army. "Great, how much worse could this get," Daniel thought to himself. "Well this sucks."
