I looked at myself in the mirror in my bathroom. I sighed, some-what happy, with my appearence. It was just work.

"Jess, there is twenty dollars on the counter for take out. Make sure she is in bed, normal time. And lock the doors.. please." i gave Jessica, a girl, little younger than me, the low down. Jessica was my babysitter. She was such a great gal, so reliable. She was about 20, and quite gorgeous. I always found myself a little self concious around her. I always thought that was a little pethetic, considering im a 22 year old mother. I had had bigger things to worry about than my appearence.

See, becoming a mom, at such a young age, forces you to grow up. There has been countless nights where i had to cancel on a girls night out, or a date, because of Carly. It seems like im saying Carly is more of a hassle than a blessing, but that couldn't be wrong. Carly reminded me so much of her father. And i was thankful for that. She had big, beautiful, green eyes, very curly hair, always getting along with people. It killed me sometimes.

I sighed and walked out of my apartment. This was going to be a long shift.

--------Later-------

I was about a hour away from clocking out, thank god.

"So, I saw you bumped into Zayn yesterday." Simon said as I loaded my bucket with dirty dishes. "You know its going to get harder to hide from him right?"

I sighed knowing he was right, " I've been doing it for 2 and a half years. I think I can handle myself." I said while poking out my tongue at him, causing him to laugh.

"You are quite stubborn." he called back, making his way back to the kitchen.

I got to the last table when I heard the front door chime. I groaned hoping that we weren't going to get anymore costumers. Grin and bear it. Grin and bear it.

"Katie?" a deep voice hummed from behind me. My heart stopped. I turned on my heels slowly, and met his green eyes.

My jaw dropped at his new appearance. He was covered in tattoos, and he had more of a relaxed sense of style. But one thing stayed the same, he was still attractive.

A small smirk appeared on his lips, "Enjoying the view?" he said while the 2 girls he was with snickered.

"How many?" I said ignoring his question, and adding a hint of attitude. As I said that, the rest of the boys appeared, with sympathetic smiles tugging at their lips.

"7" Louis said smiling. I smiled and gestured for them to follow me. I seated them in a booth, more towards the back of the café.

"What would you guys like to drink?" I said with my best fake smile.

"Water" Liam smiled warmly.

"Me too" Niall chimed

"Water!" Louis cheered happily

"I'll take a water." Zayn smiled

"I guess im the only one having fun tonight," Harry said with a mischievous grin, all the boys looked down, as if they were embarrassed, "Go get me a bottle of your hardest liquor." He shooed me off, as I walked off, his bimboes snickered. Why was he being such an arse? He used to be so sweet.

I came back with the boys water, "U-um, we don't have any alcohol. Would you like something else?" I asked trying not to act sheepish, but I was failing miserably.

Harry threw his back in laughter, "For God sakes, can you be anymore useless?" he sneered rudely. When he said that, it just set me off. I took Zayn's drink and threw it at the sick bastard.

"Enjoy." I said, smiling widely. Harry looked at me in shock, while the boys were trying to suppress the urge to laugh.

I walked off, grabbed my things and made my way towards the door. But before I could reach the door Liam, Niall, Zayn, and Louis stopped me. "Katie wait," Liam started, "Please don't think of us any different because of Harry's behavior. We are still the same." They all looked at me with pleading eyes.

I sighed, " I still love all you boys, never forget that." I smiled hugging all of them. "Ill see you guys around." I made my way out of the café, and back to my apartment.

I unlocked the front door to be greeted by Jess and a sleeping Carly. "She was an angel." Jess said while making her way out. I just smiled and waved.

I scooped up my little girl and carried her to her room. I laid her down gently and tucked her in.

I made my way to my room, stripping of my gross work uniform, and into comfortable pajamas, and slowly drifted off to sleep.
