Chapter 1: Who are you?

3rd PoV

Sarah winced harshly as her ears popped from the sudden change of pressure in the plane, her best friend Camille grinning and twisting in her seat in excitement rubbing her tired blue eyes. They were so close to realising their dream it was terrifying yet thrilling to imagine. As they landed, Camille glanced down at her book, disappointed of closing it but yearning her arrival.

They were finally free, they finally escaped the sharp claws of parenting and were proud to call themselves adults......kind of.....But before all the fun begins, the only thing they wanted right now was a warm bed and an apartment to call their own. As the soft bell of the plane announced their arrival, they grinned at each other and stood up to grab their small luggage from the top compartment. The two best friends didn't bring much, only a small suitcase and a backpack to accompany them on the trip.

As the two girls walked out into the sunlight outside of the airport, Camille let out a loud sigh, relieved to finally be able to breathe in the cold air and not the metallic and outright gruesome smell of the airport. As they waited in the taxi line which was as long as could be, the two of them started chatting excitedly about their soon to be home. The apartment was pretty big! They came a few months ago to make sure that it was suitable for them and they fell in love at first sight. It was even right next to a gym which was encouraging except that considering their life style, Netflix and ice cream was top priority.

' I cannot believe this is really happening right now ', Sarah said as she gripped her blonde hair and pulled at it, as if to wake herself from a dream.

' I know! I can't wait to see our apartment! ', answered Cami, ' and watch Attack on Titans! Eren is freaking hot even though he's an anime character.'

' You and your weird fantasies! ' answered Sarah.

' Me? What about you? Ohhhhh Sherlock, solve that mystery baby!' Camille mimicked in a high pitched voice, laughing in between her breaths. This was very true, Cami loves Eren but Sarah loves Benedict Cumberbatch. However, both of them have a profound addiction to Supernatural and watching Shane Dawson, Pewdiepie on YouTube for hours. You could say that they are fangirls, like most people here reading this crappy story.

' Shut up Cami! ' squealed Sarah hitting her shoulder, ' at least he's a real person!'

' Rara, that's what makes it even more awkward '

About fifteen minutes of non stop chatting, a cab was finally free and the man honked at them impatiently. The two girls climbed in the awaiting taxi and told the driver their destination. The old man grumbled under his breath and didn't even spare a glance at neither of them.

'So much for a friendly welcome' thought Sarah disappointed.

The duo arrived in the afternoon after being stuck in traffic coming back from Heathrow ( airport ). They paid the grumpy taxi driver and went up the elevators, up to their new home.

In the elevator Sarah jumped up and down excitedly making the lift groan and successfully getting hit by a pissed of Cami due to some horrible elevator memories in her past. Walking towards their designated door, they both took a deep breath and Sarah knocked, waiting for the landlord to welcome them into their new domicile.

Creak

The white-painted door opened slowly but only enough to see a pair of weary brown eyes glaring at the two young girls.

' Dannnyyyy!', a whiny voice was heard in the background, ' Who is it?'

'Uhm, Mr Oakley? Is that you?', asked a confused Sarah as her friend Cami cast a questioning look towards the young man that opened the door.

'Who exactly are you? Did Tyler send you here because I swear Phil and I payed rent this month, did he not receive the pay check?' asked the so-called Danny with a British accent.

' What do you mean pay check? You guys live here?', asked a frantic Camille.

'Uh yeah', Danny answered awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. ' We moved in a couple mon-'

' DANNY I'M TRYING TO LISTEN TO DEATH NOTE BE QUIET! WHO IS AT THE DOOR?', yelled the same voice as earlier.

' I don't know Phil! Come here! And stop calling me Danny you know I hate it!', yelled Dan who was supposed to be angry but looked back fondly towards the slim figure skipping towards the half-opened door. As he came into view, fingers of one hand in his pocket but his wrist twisted around so his palm faced towards the floor ( creepy Phil hand thing *shiver* ), he stopped next to Dan bumping shoulders with him.

' Hello!', greeted Phil with a burst of energy, his bright blue eyes looking towards the two puzzled girls.

' Who are you?
' Yeah, uh hi, we're the owners of this apartment, we kind of paid Tyler and wanted to move here. He said he'll greet us at our arrival and stuff. Who are you? Friends of Mr. Oakley? What is happening? Did he trick us? Is this the right door Cami?', questioned Sarah.

' Yes it is, 221b right?', answered her friend. ( *wink* Sherlock )

Dan and Phil looked at each other worriedly.

' Phil.... do you think these are the girls that Tyler told us about? The ones that supposedly didn't have a better offer than us for this apartment?', Dan asked swiftly towards his raven-haired roommate.

' Too be honest....... yeah', Phil nodded, a grim looking on his face. ' Why don't you come in... ', the boy asked quickly, opening the door wide enough for the girls to step in the sunlight apartment

Sarah and Camille looked hurriedly at each other before shrugging and stepping inside the room not knowing that this was the start of a very long, and I mean a VERY long adventure.
