I lay beside a river with Sophia under a tree it's early morning and it's pouring down rain. Sophia had stolen the keys to my cell after seducing one of the head guards. She had unlocked my cage and we shifted into her wolf forms each carrying a duffle bag in our mouths. We went through the underground and exit and ran in the mud and pouring rain toward the road. It was odd how no one had tried to stop us. It was like they didn't care about us. We made it off the pack lands and are now in rouge territory. We are now outsiders without no home, and no friends or family just ourselves. It would be dangerous for two females on our own but hopefully we would manage. We huddle together for warmth but our soaked fur didn't help to keep out the chill of the icy rain or the wind.

Sophia whimpers and I know she can feel the pain of the pack link breaking still. We were both silent and all one could hear the pitter patter of the rain.

Mason

I reach word from the guards this morning that my good for nothing sister and her daughter have run away. I go to their room and most of their room is stripped clean, they had taken their money and the family jewelry. I punch the wall hard in frustration leaving a large hole. I feel slim delicate arms wrap around my waist and feel tears soaking into my back. I look around to see Sarina crying and I groan wrapping my arms around her kissing her head. "They left because of me didn't they?" She asks her voice trembling

"No sweetheart they didn't they left because their selfish fools." I whisper
