Jenna's POV

I was sitting in Mr. Harris's room next to Scott.

"Welcome class!" Says Mr. Harris "for those who don't know, my name is Mr. Harris."

Mr. Harris looks around the room at each one of the students, seeing the new sophomores, juniors, and seniors. He looks at me and pauses.

"I don't recognize you from around the school." Says Mr. Harris "what grade are you in?"

"I'm a freshman." I say

"Ohh! I've been told about you!" He says "Jenna Stilinski!"

"Yeah." I say, my face turning a couple shades redder.

"Your brother is Stiles right? He asks

"Yes." I say

"How can you, a freshman, be taking some of the same classes as your brother, a junior?" He asks

"I don't know." I say

Mr. Harris laughs and keeps looking around the room.

"Mr. McCall!" Says Mr. Harris "it's nice to see you back in my class!"

"It's nice to see you too!" Says Scott

"Maybe you can have Miss Stilinski help you so you can actually pass my class this year!"says Mr. Harris

"Maybe!" Says Scott, winking at me.

I giggle a little bit.

"How many times have you taken this class?" I ask

"Just once!" He says "last year!"

I giggle some more.

"Don't laugh!" He says a little too loud.

"That's enough Mr. McCall!" Says Mr. Harris

For the rest of the class Mr. Harris talked about what we would be doing the rest of the year in his class. Scott and I passed notes the whole time without Mr. Harris noticing.

What's your next class?

Algebra 2, you?

Same! I had to get my schedule changed around, wha'ts yours again?

Um...

Free Period

LUNCH

European History

Study Hall

English

Jenna! It's all the same!

Really?

Yeah!

Wow!

Yeah! Can i talk to you after class?

Sure! What about?

You are just going to have to wait and see!

I wait impatiently for class to be over. I walk to my locker where Scott is waiting.

"Tell me!" I say

"Um.." He says, sounding nervous

"Come on Scott!" I say "spit it out!"

"Uhh" he says "I was, uhh, wondering if you might.... want to maybe.... Go out with me sometime? You don't have to if you don't want to! But if you did, that would be cool too!"

"You like me?" I ask

"Y-yeah." He says "creepy right?"

"Why would that be creepy?" I ask

"Well I'm your older brother's best friend!' He says "I've know you your whole life!"

"I don't think that's creepy at all!" I say "I was actually scared to tell you the same because I thought it would be creepy!"

"Really?" He asks

"Of course!" I say

"So is that a yes?" He asks

"Yeah!" I say "I would love that!"

"Should we tell your brother?" He asks

"Nah!" I say "not yet!"

We both laugh. Scott seems less nervous.

That was so unexpected! Scott, my brother's best friend, the guy that threw me in the back of a jeep, just asked me out!

We walk to our next class together and Scott sits in front of me. We pass notes the whole time, and before I know it, the class is over!

We have to separate for a while to change for PE.

As I walk into the locker room my best friend Olivia yells

"Jenna! Where have you been? I haven't seen you at all today! Wait maybe I did. Yeah I did! I saw you with your brother's one friend, Scott! The one that you have had a crush on since like, the 3rd grade!"

"Yeah!" I say "I was!"

"Wait!' She says, raising her eyebrows "are you two like, a thing now?"

"No!" I say "but he asked me out today!"

"Ahhh!" She says "my best friend is going on a date with her dream guy! My little girl is growing up!"

We both laugh and walk out of the locker room. Olivia is telling me things she did at camp and other stuff she did during the summer.

I see Scott come out of the boys locker room. He was talking to some guy I didn't know, he looks over to us and smiles.

"Oooohhh!!!!" Says Olivia

"He just smiled!" I say

"Omg!" She says "he's coming over!"

Scott comes up to us, takes my hand and pulls me into the gym. I look back at Olivia and she has a huge grin in her face!

We all go into the gym and Scott stops and says

"Is this okay?" Referring to our intertwined hands.

"Yes!" I say

Olivia comes up to us and just looks at Scott.

"Not bad!" She says

"Olivia!!" I yell

"You must be Scott!" She says "Jenna here has told me sooooo much about you!"

"No I haven't!" I say to Olivia and look over to Scott "no I didn't!"

Scott laughs and wraps his arms around my shoulders. Olivia's ear to ear grin returns to her face and I roll my eyes.

After I walk into the girls locker room after PE, I think about what happened in the last few hours.

I realize how excited I am for our date!
