Chapter six

Chapter Six

Jenna's POV

"Stiles?!" I say "What are you doing?"

"Um...." Is all he says

"You were spying on us!" I say, the anger rising inside of me

"I was protecting you!" he says

"I don't need you protection!" I yell "I can take care of myself!"

"But."

"No buts Stiles!" I yell "I'm not a baby anymore!"

I run down the street and leave Stiles sitting on the grass.

I run into the forest. Something pulling me there....

I sprint through the tree. Jumping over roots on the ground and ducky under branches hanging up above.

 Before I know it I'm laying on the cold ground with pain shooting through my whole body. I look to my calf witch is sliced open and blood is streaming from me. I look back and see nothing on the ground behind me. I slowly get up and the pain returns.

 I slowly start to walk through the trees with pain everywhere inside of me. I approach a clearing and I pause by a tree, seeing two figures standing in the clearing.

"You did this to me!" I hear Scott yell at the other figure

"No I didn't!" the figure says back "The alpha did!"

"Who's the alpha?" asks Scott

"I don't know." Says the man "That's why I need your help."

Suddenly my leg buckles from beneath me and I fall to the ground.

The man snaps his head toward me, not seeing me but I can his face in the moonlight. It was Derek Hale.

"What was that?" asks Scott

"I don't know." Says Derek

Why was Scott talking to Derek Hale? What did Scott think he did to him? Alpha? What does that even mean? So many questions are running through my mind.

Another wave of pain shoots through me. I let out a small moan, but I don't think they heard me.

Suddenly, someone runs past me, Stiles.

"Scott!" yells Stiles, sprinting up to him.

"Stiles!" says Scott "Stay away from me! I don't want to hurt you!"

"But Scott!" Stiles yells again

"Stiles!" Scott growls at Stiles, sounding almost, animal. "Stay away!"

The anger running through Scott's veins is building up by the second.

 His eyes start to glow a golden color. I look to his hands to see his fingernails transform into sharp claws. The words coming from him are slipping between piercing fangs.

"But Scott!" Stiles yells again "It's Jenna!"

"What about Jenna?" Scott says, the anger turning to worry.

I try to yell but nothing comes. My voice lost in a sea of thoughts.

"She ran off after you!" says Stiles "I saw her run in here but now I can't find her!"

"Why would she come in here?" Scott says

"That's what I thought!" says Stiles

"Calm down Stiles." Says Derek "We can find her."

The worst wave of pain hits me. I get really sweaty and my heart is racing.

"Wait!" says Scott "I can hear her heartbeat!"

"She is near." Says Derek "I smell a human."

"She is in pain!" says Scott

"How do you know that?" asks Stiles

"I-I don't know..." says Scott "I know where she is."

Derek is like Scott. Those boys have some explaining to do.

I touch my hand to my leg and feel the sliced flesh and my mind goes blank and my face heats up fast.

Scott is soon leaning over me. Picking me up in his arms.

"What are y-"

He cuts me off. "Don't speak. We will talk about that later."

Scott slowly places a kiss on my forehead. He holds out one of his hands, I take it, he lightly squeezes my hand and some of the horrible pain disappears.

"How'd you do that?" I ask

"It's kind of complicated." He says

Stiles runs over and his face quickly loses all color.

"What happened?" he asks

Derek walks over, he looks at my leg and he is white as a ghost.

"What??" I ask, confused at what the issue is.

"Get her home." Derek says

I hear them talking worriedly but I can't hear anything.

Then I black out.
