One Month Later...

Lexi's P.O.V

I was still in the orphanage but I did have an appointment to meet my possible new parents later today. I have no idea what their names are but the excitement on Mrs. Lavender's face (the short plump lady from before) I knew they were important. I hadn't made any new friends here at the orphanage though. They all think I'm weird because I am a werewolf. Oh well at least I am possibly getting adopted to day. Mrs. Lavender said to be at my room at 1:00 so I can meet them.

It's 1:00 and Mrs. Lavender is here to take my new parents' house! They said around 12:30 that they WOULD adopt me! Though I haven't met them yet I'm almost POSITIVE that they are nice people!

We start walking towards the castle. Hmm I ask "Why are we goi g to the castle?" She replies "You'll see!"
Then I realize who my parents are. "AM I GETTING ADOPTED BY GARTE AND ZINNIA?!?!" She nods her head yes. I am sooooo excited about meeting them! A few minuets later... I enter the castle alone. Mrs. Lavender couldn't stay for she had to take care of the other kids (even though I am one of the youngest.) I immediately enter the throne room which has 5 chairs. One for Garte, one for Zinnia, one for Garroth, one for Zane, and one for Vylad. Only 2 were occupied. Garte was in the middle and Zinnia was to his left. Garte said "Welcome home my daughter." His voice was powerful and almost alarming. I bowed and turned to Zinn- Er mom. She said "Your room is upstairs right next to Vylad's." Her voice was sweet and calming almost the exact opposite of Gar- Er dad's. I got to get better at that. I politeley (or as polite as a two year old could be) say "Thank you I shall see you at dinner then?" They both nod yes. Then I bow again and walk up to my room. Thankfully all the rooms had signs. I saw Vylad's sign then the door to it's right had a sign with bold letters that said Lexi's Room. I enter and I saw a light purple bed with fluffy white pillows. Their was a closet filled with dresses and nightgowns. I descided not to touch them until it was time for dinner.

Once it was about 5:00 I decided that it was time to get dressed. Once K did I heared rustling next door. I thought I should go see. I go over to Vylad's room and knock. He comes and opens the door. "Are you the little girl mom was talking about adopted?" he asked. I say "Yep, my name is Lexi. It is a pleasure to meet you! I was just wondering what time does dinner start?" He answerd "Right now actually. You can walk with me if you want." Then he offers his hand. I take it and we quietly go down to the dinning room.

Well that's the end of this chapter! I saw that their were at least 8 views on the first chapter! Feel free to give suggestions in the comments! Just remember NO SWEARING!!!! I what this to be a child friendly book! P.S right now this takes place BEFORE Garroth ran away. Maybe 4-5 years before Garroth met Aphmau ^__^
