The Arrival

There's a new person in town. She's a short girl with raven black hair and amber eyes. How I know this? Garroth has been talking nonstop about her for the past hour. Both me and Zenix are sick of it. At least he FINALLY has his mind off of work. Ever since the old lord was killed... what was his name? I forget, no one can really remember. Anyway, I'm getting off track here. The girl. Aphmau was it? She arrived into town right after a man, who looked a lot like Vlad, came rushing in. The man soon disappeared, but Aphmau stayed. Garroth and Zenix were talking about the recent events of the village and she started exploring. Aphmau, started setting up camp at the library and has been mining and so on.

When she came up to me I was talking with Brenden about... stuff (about secrety secrets :3), and she started to talk to me. She seems like a nice lady, but I can't let my guard down. I've been extra jumpy since Garroth let me move out. He says 17 is old enough and I was relived that I didn't have to deal with his constant nagging. (Yes she is now 17 :3, She was adopted by the Ro'Meaves when she was 12, and the series starts in my cannon 5 years later) Well, I thought it was great until I realized, IT IS SO QUIET! Every sound that I heard made me jump. I wasn't used to living alone so cut me some slack. I don't remember much before I was adopted, then the castle was filled with servants chatting, and of course my family. Anyways I'm getting off track here.

She introduced herself and ask our names, I replied with mine and Brenden seemed jut as startled as me so I introduced him as well. Then she went on her way talking and making conversations with everyone in.... wait what was this place's name again? Huh, weird. Now that I think about it I don't remember much about the previous Lord either. What was his name again? Something with an L... Oh well, that's not important now, he's gone and now we're here with no Lord.

Brenden and I parted ways and I go over to Garroth and Zenix, and Garroth seemed flustered? I decided to both him after our shift. Since he probably doesn't want me bothering him in front of Zenix.

As soon as night fell and all the villagers went to sleep I decided to bother him about it when he got home. I followed him in and asked him about it as soon as he took his helmet. "Soooooooo, why did you seem so flustered earlier today?" His face went a bright shade of pink. "N-no r-r-reason!" I immediately knew something was up, he never stutters unless he's lying or nervous. "Uh huh,  not buying it. You never stutter, SO. TELL. ME." His blush went from bright pink to a deep red. "I-It's n-nothing r-r-really!" I just stare at him and he starts sweating. "Tell me Garroth" I said while narrowing my eyes. He glances around nervously and finally breaks. He sighs and says "Fine, I give in... I may or may not like someone in the village...." His blush somehow got even  deeper than before. My eyes light up at this.  "Soo my big bro got a crush huh?~" He gives me a glare. "Well I guess I should be getting home. See ya later lover boy!" And I left with a giggle.

As soon as I get to my house I hear footsteps, I go near the source of the noise and it's Aphmau hoeing the ground and planting seeds! We haven't really been keeping up with the farms since our old Lord had disappeared.... what in the world was his name?! Oh well. I smiled and left for my house and fell  asleep.

HEY I'M NOT DEAD! Sorry for not updating in a while, I've been  busy with friends and family over the holidays and I haven't really had much motivation over the passed couple of months. BUT I DID A THING AND UPDATED FOR ONCE!!! Anyway, I guess I will see you guys in the next chapter!
