Everyday passes
Moments slipping through your fingers
Just wanting to push a button and pause
Life going by so quickly, you don't even notice
You can't quite grasp it, the seconds ticking by
Where are you going? You wonder.
That time, leaving us all behind.
Where are you going?
Then one moment, you look down and see your whole life has gone by
You glance back, wondering what happened
You look at all those moments, the ones that stand out like fins in the waves
The memories you never forget, the fond ones, the dark ones
And you wonder if it was a good life, or if you wasted it
But we're not there yet.
Those memories have yet to happen
They're not gone, they haven't passed you by yet
So stop wasting your time, spending those precious seconds acting or thinking hatefully
Spend those moments wisely and enjoy them
Look on the bright side and live the life you have happily, before it's all gone
Because one day you'll look back and wonder if you wasted it
