It was another cold, windy day in newcastle. Most of the kids were still in bed. Apart from Jody and rick who were outside in the shed.

Jody: Rick I'm tired, can't we just go back to bed. Why did you bring me down here anyway
Rick: I need to find that tin.
Jody: what tin
Rick: mikes tin. You know with that money in. I have to get away from here.

Jody starts messing with everything on the cupboards including two switches on the wall.

Jody: what are these for.
Rick: not now Jody.

She switches them on.

Rick: oh no
Jody: what's happened
Rick: well look

She looked behind her to see the shelve had fell pulling loads of books and pieces of paper down.

Jody: if mike sees this were dead meat.
Rick: help me clear it up then.

They start clearing up the mess putting the pieces of paper on an old toaster by the door. They picked up the piece of wood which was meant to be holding up the shelve and knelt it near the toaster.

Rick: now help me find this tin. You don't realize how much I need it don't you.
Jody: well not really but I know. If I help, I get part of that money.
Rick: you are joking.

Back up in the house.

Mike: BREAKFAST.
tee: it's too early
Johnny: oh stop moaning all the time tee.
Carmen: leave her alone for once

As they all sit down at the table mike realizes Rick and Jody aren't there.

Mike: does anyone know where Rick or Jody are.
Lily: I've not see them since last night
Frank: neither have I. Rick was on the computer and Jody was...
Carmen: being annoying.
Tee: can't you just leave Jody alone for a once.
Elektra: well yeah you made her live worst than what it already was.
Carmen: well you ripped all my clothes up and made me think it was her.
Elektra: no you straight away thought it was her.
Johnny: can't you just forget about your stupid clothes. There gone. What can we do about it.
Tee: Johnny
Lily: well you were having a go at Carmen yourself a minute ago.
Elektra: why have you got in to it.

Mike walks out the kitchen and into the office where Gina is sat.

Mike: Rick and Jody haven't turned up to breakfast. Have you see them?
Gina: no not since last night.
Mike: I'm going to have to ring the police if they're not hear by 10.
Gina: well where are the other kids.
Mike: in the kitchen....arguing.
Gina: and what. You just left them there.

Gina and mike make there way down to the kitchen where the kids are still arguing.
Gina: QUIET.
Mike: chores need to be done today
Kids: *groan*
Tee: so me and lily are pegging out the washing.
Frank: am I doing the hoovering.
Elektra: why do I have to do stupid changing the covers.
Carmen: at least your not watering Gina's plants.
Johnny: dusting
Mike: I'm going down to the shed a minute.

Mike walks out the house and down the steps towards the shed. In front of his eyes he can see smoke coming from under the door and Jody's screams. Quickly he runs down and smashes the window open.

Mike: JODY! RICK!
Jody: HELP US
Mike: WHAT'S HAPPENED.
Jody: HELP US GET OUT
Mike: LISTEN JODY HOW'S RICK.
Jody: I CAN'T SEE HIM.
Mike: YOU MUST LOOK. IM GOING TO GET HELP

He runs straight back into the house to find everyone still sat at the table

Gina: w-what's the matter mike.
Mike: Jody. Rick. Shed. Fire. Ambulance.
Carmen: Jody and Rick are in the shed and its on fire.

Everyone rushes up and try's to get out the door.
Tee: we've got to help them.
Gina: mike is trying.
Mike: ring a ambulance and fire brigade.
Gina: faith, can you go get the phone.

As mike rushes back down to the shed everyone waits worried in the house.
Lily: I hope they're okay
Carmen: what if they're not.
Johnny: well you would say that
Tee: don't start again you two
Elektra: tee, if they're going to fight then they will. Just let it happen. It will be good to watch.
