"I am not getting in the wheelchair"
"Yes you are"
"No!"
I huffed. He was like a little kid.
"Niall James get your butt in that wheelchair now"
He just crossed his arms looking away.
"Don't make me tickle you" I warned, stepping closer. He ignored me.
"You leave me no choice," I said before reaching down and tickling him lightly.
"HARRY!" He wailed, squirming around.
"Niall!" I mimicked, before lifting him up easily.
"No!"
"Yes!" I sighed, putting him in the chair "was that really so hard?"
He just pouted.
I rolled my eyes, grabbing the handles and pushing him along the corridor. It had been two weeks since the incident, two weeks since Luke...
I looked down at Niall biting my lip. Should I tell him? What would happen if I did? For the first week he'd been an emotional wreck, obviously scarred by the whole ordeal. He'd visited a therapist a few times and would continue to do so until he recovered. Would telling him make things worse? Would he hide back in his shell when I'd just coaxed him out?
I signed a form quickly before steering him out into the car park, watching him look up at the sky in glee. No, I couldn't risk telling him and everything going wrong.
"Where are you taking me?" Niall raised an eyebrow as I opened the car door.
"Home."
His face paled and he stared at me for a moment before I realised what I'd said.
"My house," I hurried to correct myself, "I mean, if you want to? We can go somewhere else."
He frowned slightly, "will I be staying at your house?"
My heart thudded, "If you want to. I mean, your stuff's at mine but you can stay with Louis if you want it's totally your choice."
He looked unsure, "Won't I annoy you?"
"What?" I blinked, "how can you annoy me? You're my friend?"
His face brightened and he smiled shyly, "C-can I stay with you?"
"Of course." I helped him into the car, trying to conceal my grin.
Could life get any better?
