Alex: hey Gazelle what day do u want to study for chem together? Let me know.
Wait isn't the chemistry test in three weeks? Typical, my best friend Alex is always studying. And I mean always. All the teachers love him, i guess he is just a really likable person.
I replied back smiling
Is Thursday OK?
Alex: sure
I went down stairs for dinner, I was wearing two pairs of socks and still felt so cold. "Mum what's for dinner? Please don't say just order take out. We have been having it for past three days so today is the fourth day" I said groaning.
"I'm sorry love, you know how busy I am with the Christmas party planing, I have to to get it all ready by Christmas day which is in three days." Replied mum apologetically.
"It's OK mum, I'll just order pizza, I can't wait till Lilly comes home".
My sister was studying Law in Paris I know right how lucky in the city of love. It's her first year and she loves it there. I can't wait till I go off to uni.
"Me too, she will be back on Christmas day so it will be supper busy around here preparing Ms.Brown's party, getting ready for Christmas and welcoming your sister." My mum said with disparity in her voice.
"Don't worry about it mum I'm sure it will be amazing! All the parties your hosting just keep getting better and better, I'm sure your hard work will pay off. Oh and mum I'm studying with Alex tomorrow".
"Thanks sweetie you always know how to make me feel better, studying really? Don't they know Christmas is round the corner!"
"I know right how annoying can't we just have one holiday with no work". I said before calling Papa John's.

I woke up to the first day of the winter break, I got out of bed got changed and texted Crystal and Zoe.
Do you guys know what you're going to wear for the party. I still haven't decided.
Zoe: yes. I'm going to wear what I wore at Alex's party last month.
Crystal: OMG yesss Zoe I love that dress. I don't know what I will wear yet. Gazelle please tell me their will be hot guys there.
Gazelle: Seriously Crystal you just broke up with Dan.
Crystal: Exactly that's why I need to find another guy. How else am I going to get over him.
I laughed.
I skipped down the stairs to have breakfast then go over to Alex's house.
"Good morning dad"
"Morning Gazelle I made pancakes, your mum was out shopping she then came home and realized she forgot the fairy lights so went back to the store". Said dad looking up at me with a perturbed look on his face while drinking his coffee.
"Poor mum she's been working like crazy the past week".
I replied then started making myself some coffee, I'm going to need it in order to stop myself from falling asleep while studying chemistry. I sat down and ate my Nutella covered pancakes, and gobbled down my coffee. Yum.
