Annabeth Dean's 5th year at Hogwarts

The lightning struck tower

By the time I got to the Astronomy tower, Dumbledore and Harry were there. I was suppose to be in Ravenclaw tower but I had to help.
Dumbledore did not look well.
"Professor!" I ran up.

Harry's PoV

It was Annabeth. She was wearing a Plain blue hoodie, black jeans and grey hunting boots.
"Hello, Annabeth." Croaked Dumbledore. "You have no time to lose. And, you both are the bravest and smartest students I have ever known."
"Thank you, Professor." She said. "Come, Harry."
But as we were going down, a clump of people in black came running. I was about to scream when Annabeth clamped her hands over my mouth and pulled me into darkness.
They went up to were Dumbledore was.

Annabeth's PoV

Oh no, this can't be good. Draco Malfoy was among the group.
He pointed his wand at Dumbledore. "Who else is here?" He demanded. "I heard voices. A girls, a boys and yours."
"I simply talk to myself, Draco." He brought out his wand but Draco disarmed him.
"Very good, Draco!" Dumbledore awarded.
"I have to kill you!"
"Draco, we can take you and your mother into hiding. Your father is safely in Azkaban at the moment."
Draco studied him. He was lowering his wand when the crowd of death eaters joined him. Harry and I pointed our wands at them.
Then I saw something that shocked me. Severus Snape was among them.
"The boy is too weak to do it!" Shouted Bellatrix.
"Severus," Dumbledore started. "Please."
"Avada Kedavara!"
Dumbledore was suspended in mid air before falling off the Astronomy tower. He was gone. I was so shocked I could hardly move. But then Snape and Draco came running down. The crowd holding people off. The castle had awoken.
"Go!" I yelled to Harry. "I'll distract them!"
"No!"
"Go, you idiot!"
"I'll fight with you!"
"Catch them!"
He ran away just as Ginny, Cece, Hermione, Ron, Ernie, Collin, Will and Micheal came to help me fight. I took on Bellatrix. My target.

"Confundo!"
She swiped it away then aimed a curse at me. I swiped away and quickly hit her with a simple jinx she wouldn't be expecting. She froze her shape.

I took off after Harry, Snape and Draco. I was a very fast runner so I caught up with them quickly. I took on Snape. Harry, Draco.
A lot of non-verbal spells and light flashed around me and Snape. Then I gave Harry a look. I grabbed his and and apparated him and I into a tree next to the school gates.
"Follow my lead." I whispered to Harry. Snape and Draco came running and I jump ed out of the tree.
"Did you really think it was going to be that easy?"
They stared at me.
"Move," ordered Snape.
"Make me!"
Harry jumped down and we took them on together.
By the end of it, Snape and Malfoy were drenched in blood.
"That's right, Potter, Dean. I'm the Half-Blood Prince."
Then they ran off across the boundary line.
"NO! No! No! No!" I punched the tree and my hand swelled up. Most of the school grounds were on fire.

At Dumbledore's funeral, Hermione and Ginny were both crying. I didn't cry. I couldn't break down in front of everyone. At the end of it, we all raised our wands in respect as they lowered the white tomb. We all said a few words and went to pack our bags.
We went to see Bill in the hospital wing as well before Harry, Ginny, Hermione, Ron, Cece and I went to the balcony.
"I'm not coming back," Harry told us.
"What are you going to do?" Asked Hermione.
"He's going to go looking for Horcruxes," I said. "And I'm going with him."
"What?"
"We're in this together, right? And besides, since Dumbledore is gone, Muggle-borns will have to go into hiding."
"That's us." Hermione said and I nodded.
"And me," Ron said.
I turned to Ginny and Cece.
"You guys have to finish school. I'll let you know how it's going, I promise. It's all part of the plan."
"But you're at mine for the wedding in the Summer," Ginny said.
"Yeah."
"Me too." Piped up Cece.
We all joined hands and stared at the Phoenix flying over the sunset.
