Chapter 12

I look around and Emily is gone.

"No, no, no, no, no! Not again ugh" I say. This can't happen again. I know I'm acting like a little kid, but I hate doing things over, and over again.

"Emily? Emily talk to me" I yell, waiting for a sign. But all I could hear, was silence.
I hate this. I hate my life! Why does this has to happen to me? Why not someone else?

"HELP! BEFORE SHE KILLS ME" a voice hells in the distance. It sounds like Emily. Oh no! I gotta help her! "I'm coming Emily!" I yell. I start running, looking for Emily. I finally see the room where the mysterious woman always takes us. "Oh my gosh Emily!" I see Emily all tied up, and the woman is holding on to her with a knife at her throat. "Leave her alone! Take me instead" I say crying. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I know that I'm doing the right thing. I'm risking my life for my best friend. "No Amanda! Don't risk your life for me. You deserve to live!" Emily yells. "No I don't" I say.

The woman thinks for a second. "You asked for it" the woman says while untying the ropes from Emily. She throws Emily to me, and pulls my hair with her force. "AHH, That hurt" I say. Emily starts crying. "I'm sorry Emily" I say crying as the woman puts the knife at my throat. A few seconds later the woman drops the knife, and drops me.
And walks away. "Amanda!" Emily yells. I pass out for 20 seconds. I feel unconscious, I can't even breath normally. I know that today I'm gonna die. "Emily, I-I'm so sorry" I say as my voice breaks apart. "Amanda your my best friend. I don't want to lose you" Emily says crying. "I don't want to lose you either, but it's the right thing to do" I say.

The woman walks back in the room, but this time. She has a gun. The woman pushes Emily away from me. And the woman pulls me up, and takes out the gun to my head. "Any last words?" The woman says. I start crying, this can't be happening. I can't believe that today I'm gonna die. "No, Amanda! Why don't I die?" Emily says. "Because you deserve to live your life to the fullest. I'm doing this to save your life I'm giving you a chance, so take it" I say. "Amanda Gray, you have been my bestest friend since grade 1, and we are now 14. We've known each other for 12 years. And those 12 years have been the bestest times of my life. You always made me laugh, make me smile. You always stood up for me when I was bullied. I'm glad that I had you as my best friend. But I don't want you to go, not now" Emily is now crying a lot.

I feel so bad. But I know that I'm doing the right thing. "I love you so much Emily. Live your life to the fullest" I say.

And than a gunshot was fired.

"NOOOO" Emily says crying.
