I woke up from a nightmare about the woman in the shadows. I groan while getting out of bed. I noticed a big, purple bruise on my right arm. Where did this come from? I think to myself with confusion. I scratch my head, and look around. There's nothing in my room. Maybe my mom would know. But I think for a second, could it be the woman in the shadows haunting me? I hope not because right now , I'm really scared, and I should look out for what's coming my way.
I head down to the living room where my mom is and I take a seat on the couch right across from my mom. "Mom, was anyone my room last night or did you hear any sounds or banging?" I ask my mom. "No why?" My mom is now getting worried. I can just see it. "Because I woke up to a lot of banging, plus I had a lot of nightmares about the woman in the shadows and of what happened one day ago." My mom stays silent. So I speak again. "And I also woke up to this big, purple bruise on my right arm. I'm pretty sure someone was in my room." I show the bruise on my right arm to my mom. My mom opened her mouth and gasps. She is shocked. And even more worried. "Oh my goodness, are you sure you're ok. And I swear, nobody was your room. At least I think. I didn't hear anything last night, you probably fell out of bed or something. You probably need some air, oh and put some ice on that arm" my mom says handing me some ice. "Thanks mom I'm going to go out for a walk"
I walk out of the door heading for my walk. I wonder what happened last night, how did I get this brusie? I go to the store and see some video camera's. "Mmm, this could be useful.." I look at all the different video cameras. "I should get this so I can see what is going on while I'm sleeping, and I can see if the woman the shutters is actually haunting me." I say to myself. I grab two packs of the new cameras. One for my room, and one for the hallway outside of my room door.
I go home and set up the cameras. It's night... Time to finally see what's going on when I'm sleeping. I get into bed, close my eyes, and I'm now, sound asleep...
