chapter eight

Daniel absolutely hated being anywhere close to the Cobra Kai Dojo. It made him feel uneasy. He couldn't help but notice something that drew him close, though. It looked like there was.. people inside. No, not just Kreese or Silver. Almost like students. Daniel slowed his walk, approaching the door. He opened the door as quietly as he possibly could, entering hesitantly. Daniel walked over to take a seat to watch, hoping nobody noticed him. How did the business suddenly get started so well again? It was Silver and all his money, Daniel guessed.

Kreese was walking through all the students, and teaching. Mostly a lot of yelling. Kreese's teaching methods are definitely very different than anything Daniel had experienced in his whole karate journey so far. Unless the time Silver taught him counts, but Daniel tries to pretend that never happened. Kreese glanced over at Daniel, and the two had a eye contact. Kreese had a small smirk on his face. Daniel rolled his eyes and got up, walking right out of the Dojo, slamming the door behind him. Instantly, he took off, running to Miyagi's house. He had to tell him that Kreese's business was up again.

Later that day, Daniel was in his room, stressing, like usual. All he had been doing lately is stressing. He turned his head to the door when he heard a noise, seeing Ali come in. "Oh, hey, Ali." Daniel smiled.
Ali smiled and took a seat next to Daniel on the bed, "hey. Are you alright? Miyagi told me."
Daniel looked confused, "told you what?"
"About Kreese, the business starting again. I'm sure that's a worry."
Daniel nodded, "yeah. Huge worry. But, whatever. That's life, I guess." He laughed, laying back. Ali laid back with him, grabbing his hand.
"You know where we haven't been in a while?" Ali asked. Daniel looked over at her, "no?"
Ali laughed, "out on a date! Specifically Golf N' Stuff.'
Daniel laughed, "ah, you're right. So I'm guessing you're asking me out on a date right now?"
Ali suddenly looked offended, "wait, what? No."
A confused expression washed over Daniel, "then why did you bring it up?"
Ali crossed her arms, smiling a little, "because you're going to ask me out on a date."
Daniel realized, and he smirked, sitting up. "Okay then. Well then, Ali Mills," he grabbed Ali's hand, kissing her knuckles. "Will you please do me the honor of going on a date with me to Golf N' Stuff?" Daniel asked, all sarcastic.
Ali sat up, grinning happily, "yes, Daniel, I would love to." She leaned in, kissing Daniel lovingly. Daniel smiled and reached up, playing with her hair as they kissed. They pulled away when Mr Miyagi entered the room.
"Ah, I'll be going." Ali smiled and pulled away, getting out of bed. "How's tomorrow? Eight?" She asked. Daniel nodded at her, "wouldn't miss it. I'll pick you up." He waved to Ali, and Ali left the room. Miyagi walked over to Daniel. "Ah, Daniel-San. So I suppose you not free tomorrow?"
Daniel shook his head, "nope, tomorrow, I'm busy."
Miyagi nodded, "Miyagi understand. You and Ali doing good?"
Daniel nodded, "yeah. It's going great, really. I'm happy. Finally, I can be happy about something."
"But you still care for Jessica, yes?"
Daniel looked up at him, "what, are you kidding? Of course I do. She's my friend. I'm not that shallow, Mr Miyagi." Daniel joked. Miyagi laughed, nodding.
"Mr Miyagi, what do we do about the dojo? It's as if they are trying to build up an army or something." Daniel shrugged.
Miyagi shook his head. "Nothing."
"Wait, what? Nothing?" He asked, sounding lost.
Miyagi nodded, "aye, nothing."
"Why?" Daniel asked.
"Because, Daniel-San, we not involved until we involved. Not a threat yet."
Daniel shook his head, "Mr Miyagi, we're already involved. I know why they are doing it. We all do, I mean, come on. We can't just hang around and wait to get our asses kicked."
Miyagi chuckled, but Daniel didn't find this so funny. With that, Miyagi walked right out of the room.
