Sydneys little "secrets"

"Spill it girl," Shawn said. Sydney didn't want to say one of her deepest secrets so, she made one up on the spot.
"I'm, I'm, I--I'm... allergic to eggplants," Sydney lied.
"That really?" Shawn said disappointed.
"Y-yeah," Sydney trembled.

His eyes, they glimmer, his smile. Teeth are brighter than my future. When he looks at me I blush so I started wearing lots of blush to cover it up. He makes me laugh all the time, we do very stupid things together. He is my best friend but I wish he was more.

              Next day Sydney woke up not remembering what happened last night. Then she remembered, they were playing truth or dare, she went to write in her journal and then, WAIT! Sydney looked around her bed, where she last left her journal, and didn't find it. She panicked (at the disco) because all of her deepest secrets were written in that very journal. She searched her room, then, on the floor, she saw it. The journal was turned to the latest page she wrote. Has someone read her journal? She was horrified. Sydney decided to forget about it and just go and get breakfast. She walked into the kitchen and saw that Shawn and Nick prepared a platter of heart shaped pancakes for her.
             "This is a bit unusual. Thanks guys though," Sydney said confused.
             "I made it!" Shawn and Nick said both at the same time.
             "No it did!" Shawn argued.
             "No me!" Nick fought. The rest of the day Shawn and Nick had been acting terribly weird. Shawn got Sydney flowers, Nick bought her chocolate and they were acting like two men fighting over a girl but who knows, it may have not been acting.
