this wasn't thoroughly edited, just a heads up

"Cho, wait up!" I called my friend as I raced to catch up with her. "Do we really have to do this?" I asked. "Yes, Etta, do you really want that awful hag corrupting us?" I made the assumption she was talking about Umbridge, and chose not to answer. We were on our way to Hogsmeade, to go to a meeting at the Hog's Head pub about some organization that Cho refused to give me details about. All I could figure out was that it was something about Umbridge and her teaching methods. We stepped out into the courtyard, the bitter wind hitting my face. I pulled my scarf up over my nose, and when I spoke my voice was muffled. "It's so cold out, let's just go back in." Cho grabbed my hand and started pulling me along. "No, we're going to this meeting!" Suddenly, it didn't seem so cold. We walked silently, hand in hand, along the path, Cho still almost pulling me. "Hey, have you completed that essay for McGonagall yet?" "Oh my god, don't even get me started on that!" Soon, we were giggling and talking about anything and everything. We saw Padma and Parvati and found out they too were going to the Hog's Head, so they walked with us. Before we knew it, the doorway to the Hog's Head was in front of us. Parvati went in, then Padma, then Cho and I. I wrinkled my nose when I stepped into the pub. It was a very dingy place, with the floor being so filthy it looked like it was made of dirt. Behind the bar, there was an older man with hair and a beard almost as long as Dumbledore's. There were a few random strangers sitting at various tables, and at the table in the corner, I saw Harry, Ron, Hermione and a few other people I didn't know. As soon as I saw Harry, my face fell. Of course that's why Cho wanted to come here. I'd heard enough about her crush, and how she was so conflicted because she felt guilty because she dated Cedric, but she really liked Harry, but she felt so bad about liking Harry after Cedric's death. This is the reason why I'm the only one left by her side. We sat down at the table and started absentmindedly chatting again. About 20 more people filed into the small pub, a mix of Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors, most of whom I didn't know as they were in years below mine. Some redhead, Fred or George Weasley ordered everyone Butterbeers, and we all sat down around Harry, Ron and Hermione. I saw Harry looking in our direction (mine and Cho's) and I attempted to give him a look that said I do NOT want to be here. As he looked away quickly once he saw me, I assumed he got the message. When everyone settled in and went silent, Hermione began speaking.
