Allie and I hop into her brand new BMW and head into London. The shops were all lined up one right next to the other from high end fashion to little no name boutiques. We park along a side street and make our way to the main road.

"So why did you decide to come to Mayweather?" She asks as we enter the first shop.

"Well I wanted to get away from troubles back home and so I decided to take a leap of faith and come here." I look through the first rack of clothes, my fingers graze expensive silk and lace.

"What troubles? If you don't mind me prying," she looks cautiously at me.

"Crazy ex boyfriend mainly. He wouldn't obey the restraining order." I frown looking down and shutter at the memories. "But he's seven hours away in a different country." She nods and continues browsing.

"You know, I once had a crazy ex. He wouldn't stop coming around and tried to get between me and any guy I tried to date." She chuckles, "so I told him I was a lesbian. Believed every word. Haven't heard from him since!" I laugh at her comedy about the subject. I could see being great friends with her. She was the type of girl that was laid back but could take off your head if you got in her way.

"So who was that guy at breakfast? The tall, muscular brown haired guy?" I ask timidly. She laughs and shakes her head.

"That's Elliot. Every girl wants him in the university and probably the country. Girls like us have no chance with guys like him. Though I wouldn't want him anyways. Too up tight. I need someone loose," she wiggles her arms as she says loose. I giggle.

I drop the subject as we head to the next store. We idly chat as we go through one store after the other. We reach a cute little boutique and go inside. She looks at a paper behind the register and exclaims.

"Oh! The festival is this weekend! There will be dancing and games. We have to go!" She turns to me smiling. "Would you like to go? It will be so much fun. The royal family will be there. It is a lot of fun. Please?" Her eyes plead. I laugh and nod.

"Sure. I'll go." She squeals and hugs me.

"We have to get something to wear!" Pulling my arm she drags me out of the store.

I tug on the hem of the baby pink sundress Allie threw me in. The hem brushes a few inches above my knee making my legs look a mile long. My slim waistline allows the dress to fall flawlessly on my body. Turning I admire the bow that connects the straps together in the back of the dress. It was stunning. I grab the tag. £238.99.

"Do you like it?" Allie calls out, knocking again. I throw open the door and her face lights up. "Oh Rose! You are breathtaking! You have to get it!"

I sigh, "it's almost three hundred dollars." She waves her hand.

"So? You should get it anyways!"

"I am not rich Allie, this is my emergency money." I look in the mirror, this is why it is so expensive. It makes you look like a thousand bucks!

"Fine. I'll get it but you have to buy your shoes. My dad is in parliament so I can afford it." She smiles and pushes me back in the dressing room.

We pair it with nude heels that were only thirty bucks. She is jumping with excitement as we pay for our purchases.

"You could make anyone fall in love with you in that!" She nudges my arm. "Maybe even the prince!" I laugh at her and stick my tongue out.

We get our nails done and hair done and get about thirty outfits each. By the end, I'm exhausted so we head back to the university. When we get back the whole dorm is active like a beehive. Someone is cooking dinner, the boys are playing pool and shouting over a soccer match. The girls are all gossiping and eyeing Elliot. I roll my eyes and make my way to my room.
