My Country Boy

Chapter 3

After Nathan left Justin asked me to introduce him to my friends.

"Ok, so first you have Beau, then Lucca and last you have Jenifer, these are just some of them. After school you get to meet my best friend Honour."

Jenifer was looking at Justin like he was some kind of prey animal or something, she is kind of the slut of the group. I guess he noticed her staring cause he scooted closer to me and put an arm around my waist.

"So Justin where are you from?"-Jen

"Um, well I'm from Groveton."-J

"Then what brings you to Lindale?"-Jen

Why is she so interested in him, it's none of her business. Oh lord I think I'm getting jealous.

"If you must know I came to Lindale to see this beautiful girl" he pointed at me, my face went red.

"You do know that she's never had a boyfriend right?-L

Why did he just say that, I hid my face in Justin's Shoulder to hide my embarrassment.

"Ok I don't really care."

The bell finally rang and it was time for my favorite class, Anatomy. Walking into class Justin was still hot on my trail, I was still embarrassed by what Lucca said earlier I was trying to avoid Justin.

"Hey come here why are you avoiding me, are you still embarrassed?"

"Yes I am, it's embarrassing being a senior and never having a boyfriend."

"Ok fine lets fix that"

"What"

"I said lets fix it. Will you Faith be my girlfriend?"

"Are you just doing this cause you feel bad?"

"No I was gunna ask you anyway, but it was gunna be better than this."

"Ok, then I say yes."

"Really"

"Yea"

I was actually happy for once, and I could tell that Justin was happy because he picked me up spun me around then kissed me on the cheek.

I laughed at his smile that was from ear to ear.

"What are you laughing at?"-J

"You're so happy"

"Well yea I have a beautiful girl as my girlfriend."-J

With that class started, I got a lot of confused looks about Justin, but I ignored all of them.

When it got time to do the dissection part of class (which is my favorite) everyone stared complaining. There are two girls that complain the most Lea and Erika, I have learned to tune them out but Justin hasn't because he has never meet them.

"Are they always like this when yall do something like this?"-J

"Unfortunately yes, you just have to try and tune them out."

"Ok, I'll try for you."-J

"Oh trust me, they aren't my friends."

That being said I went back to dissect the cat that lay in front of me. As I was leaning foreward to look at something Justin thought it would be a good idea to put his hand on my ass,

"Hey ho, no go"

"Why not you are my girlfriend now" He laughed

"Because..."

"Oh my gosh, who is that, and why is he touching your butt?"-E

I looked up at Justin "That's why"

"This is Justin, my boyfriend"

"Why would you bring your boyfriend to school with you? Just to show him off?"-E

"First off I didn't bring him with me, he came up here at lunch and decided to stay."

I was mad that she would accuse me of something like this.

"Faith baby its ok calm down."-J

"Yea Faith better calm down, you don't wanna ruin tour good girl image."-E

I had to laugh at that. My 'good girl' image was ruined years ago.

"Oh, Erika honey, I don't have a 'good girl' image, it's been gone for a while now."

At some point I had moved out from behind the lab table and to the side of it cause Justin had his arms wrapped around me pulling me back to the table. He kept whispering stuff in my ear to calm me down.

"Faith darlin calm down. It'll be ok."-J

It felt good to have someone like this to be here for me when I needed them. I mean I have Honour, but she's not there all the time, and I know that I can talk to Justin 24/7.

Finally the bell rang, it was time for accounting yay. (Note the sarcasm) don't get me wrong I like the class, but the people in it, so we might have some problems.

As we were walking to class Justin grabbed my hand and laced our fingers together. I thought it was sweet, then I saw Honour, I forgot that I hadn't told her yet. She looked at me with a confused expression and a hint of pissed off if that's even possible.

I didn't have time to explain everything so I just told her I would tell her after school.

Accounting has got to be the most boring class in the world. As I walk into class the teacher gives Justin a strange look.

"Oh don't mind him. He's just here for today."

She smiled at me and went on about her business. I sat down in my seat and Justin stood there like a big doof.

"Sit down you big doof"

"I am not a doof, I was thinking about where I wanted to sit thank you."-J

"Whatever you doof."

"But just think you like this doof."-J

"yea, I guess."
