CHAPTER #1

Pearl's(POV)

'It's been a whole week ever since we found 'her'. I've gotten used to her presence. And I hate it!! She acts so childish. I especially hate the fact that she's taking Rose from me. I can't even speak to Rose without her interrupting. I don't think Rose realizes that Amethyst is a KINDERGARTENER!! She keeps telling me that Amethyst is a gem, like us. And that I need to give her a chance. HA!! As if I would befriend a Kindergarten gem. They're just parasite warriors that fight in battles. Rose has been canceling my chance to go on missions with her and Garnet, so I could take care of that......parasite. And today...was one of those days'

I stood in front of the warpad with Amethyst by my side. 'I hate doing this'. "Be good you two. Me and Garnet will be back before you know it" Rose beamed as she clasped her hands together. I put on a smile, while watching them warp away. As soon as they were gone, I let out a long groan of annoyance. This happens everyday. Rose says the same thing, I do the same thing, and Amethyst.......annoys me. "Hey, Pearl?" I heard the small gem, that was sitting crossed-legged on the ground, say.

I looked down at her. It wasn't much of a look of happiness, it was a glare. A glare of pure hatred. Because I hated her. "Can you play with me? I'm bored" She asked me with a questioning look on her face. "No!" I nearly scowled in response. Her expression was disappointed now. "Please?" She begged. "I said no!" I shouted in anger. She flinched a bit. "O-Oh.....o-ok" Amethyst stood and walked outside, away from the temple. 'I don't see why she's still trying. I always tell her no!! But she can't get it through her head'. I made my way into my room.
