Amethyst's(POV)
My head hung as I walked on the beach, kicking little rocks that I came across. 'Why doesn't Pearl want to play with me? Does she not like me or something?'. I felt tears rise in my eyes. 'She probably doesn't know me well. That's probably it! Yeah, that makes sense! If I let Pearl know I'm a nice gem, then she'll have to wanna play with me!! Right?!'. I stopped walking and turned towards the temple.
I ran towards the temple, picking up my pace with every step. I stopped when the ground shook, I lost my balance and fell backwards. "Woah. What was that?" I turned around. A huge, pink and green monster-looking thing was smashing on the ground and roaring. "WOW!! COOL!!" I exclaimed as I stood. 'That monster looks very pretty'.
I guess the monster saw me, cause it started running towards me. 'Uh oh. I think that monster is evil'. I took many steps back then started running towards the temple. I ended up tripping and falling on the ground, landing on my stomach. A large shadow hovered over me. I looked up, seeing the monster's fist raised above me.
