[Phil's POV]

I walk to Summer's apartment holding a bunch of flowers. I knock on her door and stand proudly there. I have a girlfriend!

She opens her door, grinning. She is wearing a cute pink dress and heels. I hand her the flowers and she smiles, before leaning in to kiss me.

'I was thinking - we could go see that new movie, Wall-E, and then we could go to that little cafe outside the movie theatre and eat lunch...'

   'Sounds awesome!'

We walk out of her apartment and hail a yellow cab. It feels weird compared to the black English ones!

We get out of the cab and walk into the movie theatre, grabbing some popcorn [which is my favourite thing ever] and drinks. She asks for some white wine, and I ask for some raspberry beer. The server looks like he is about to ask for an ID card, but seeing my tattoos and my eyebrow piercing, he just looks at me and hurries off to get our drinks.

We walk into the screen room and sit in our seats, sipping drinks and crunching popcorn.

About halfway through the movie, I lean in to kiss her, but she shuffles uncomfortably and I take that as a no. I don't want to violate her privacy and f*ck up this relationship.

The movie is great. Kind of dystopian. Like the Hunger Games, in a way, but also nothing like the Hunger Games at all.

'Did you like it?' I ask, taking hold of her hand as we stroll to the cafe.

'To be honest, not really. It wasn't very interesting.'

'Yeah...' I say. We sit down at the cafe and order more drinks.

As we are sitting, talking and laughing, Summer suddenly gets this weird look in her eye. I turn to see what she is looking at, and I see that guy Gerard, from our class. He is with that other guy Frank, and also Amelia and Dan. Since when were they all friends?

'Do you know them?' I ask curiously. 'You and Gerard made some intense eye contact...'

'Oh, it's nothing.' She replies. 'We used to date, that's all. But we broke up a couple of years back. I didn't know he was coming to the school.'

   'Ohh.' I say.

We sit in awkward silence for a moment, before she strikes up a conversation again. I keep looking at her while she is talking. She's so perfect!

We order our meals and leave the restaurant. She suggests going back to her house, and I agree. I don't wanna see Amelia again.

It's about 3pm now, and we sit on her sofa watching Adventure Time on Netflix. She is so cute.

   I love her so much.
