I cancelled my birthday party. I'm going to wait for dad to wake up so he doesn't miss another one of my birthday's. I could tell Patricia was pissed. I told it's only until dad wakes up when he can come home. She enrolling me in school tomorrow and the guys have already left. Before they left I made them promise not to give me an presents until I have my birthday but when I went up to my room, I found a small box with a card. It read "I know life might be rough right now, but I just want you to know that I love you." It wasn't signed and there's no hand wrote words. So it's either Cate and Derek.. Inside the box was a 24 carat gold ring with a diamond the size of a pencil eraser. I slid it on my finger and it fit perfectly. The ring was beautiful.
