Katie died yesterday. This is her father writing in her journal. She was in a car crash. She was driving Cate and Derek to the movies when a drunk driver hit the drivers side of her vehicle. She died a few hours later at the hospital. The drunk driver is being located. It was a hit and run. Derek and Cate are in comas. Their parents are on they way here now. I can't think of anything else to write. Writing this made everything too real for me. I'm sorry, Katie. Daddy loves you. I will see you and momma soon enough. You were always my little angel.
