My name is Sara. I am the wife of Adam, a Field Artillery Officer in the US Navy.
Life is great. My family and I would go out on Saturday walks in the National Park. My husband then signed to go off for war, and was left alone with my son and I. It's great. I tried not to think of the bad things that could happen to my husband, Adam, while he was fighting in the war, or "World War 2" as most people are saying. I would always have Seth, my 10 year- old son to help me set my mind back on track with his annoying, yet extremely playful and funny manner.
All I can hope for is the best. I keep getting different thoughts in my head for what can possibly go on, but then I go back to that same Park to cool my mind. It's like a Home away from Home if you ask me.
Times are tough now. It's a struggle for Seth because he continuously wants answers for why his father isnt around, and I cant give it to him. Other times he gets extremly cranky because dont understand him as much as his father does. Its hard to connect with Seth but I try harder and harder by introducing new games for him to play daily. Sometimes I cry while Seth sleeps because I feel lonely... Other times i find the cutest pictures I can find of Adam and just gaze towards them for hours and hours because I just want the feeling or having him around again. He is allowed to send messages to us on his free time, most of the time it is short, so i have questions.
Sometimes I wish Adam never had left. I wish he were here with me and Seth
