The Mist Within

In The Woods

*Sve pov*

I see the shadows of Creed's wolves and tigers as they lead me towards her. Panic and fear flare up in my chest as my thoughts worry of what Alex was doing to her. My feet are slow through the snow as I race after the misty creatures. My breathe rushes into my lungs while my muscles burn. The cold wind whips around me as I feel the presence of my alpha male. The black wolf runs beside me as I reach into its fur and pull myself onto it's back. Snow flys around us as he pushes to follow Creed's animals. My heart rate slows a little, lights swirl around us, their neon glow brightens the night. They dance all over the white blanket.

"Come and attack." At her small command all the misty creatures turn and run away from the direction from which her voice, They were taking me from her?! Why? Confusion clouds my mind as their feet take me towards her. Trees stand at attention and grasp at my clothes as we pass. The strong breeze tugs on Lee's fur as we stride into a small clearing in the woods. I leap from his back and run through the deep snow to her side. Her small form lay still on the white covering, I see red blood all over the ground. I reach my arms under her limp frame and hold her close to my body. My breathe catches in my throat as a pair of arms wraps around my waist. I has held in my crouching position as her breathe runs down my neck.

"I missed you Sve!"She whispers in my ear, " I'm so happy! We can now be together, you and me, no one else!" She giggles as I lay Creed down softly on the snow. She moves her hands around to my neck as I stand up. I grip her arms and put my knee up against her and shove her, she stumbles backwards. A small moan comes from behind me as Creed comes conscious, I turn around and look at her. Her arms are stretched out in front of her as she pants. I start to move towards her. a strong hand grips my upper arm and halts my approach. Creed slowly looks up at me, tears and blood stain her face, my heart pounds in my chest as my eyes take in the gaping wound on her arm. Her eyes open up, her big pupils stare into the space in front of her. I peer closer at her irises, their usual hazel had been replaced and looked a deep white. I move my hand under Alex's jaw as if to kiss her, her green eyes close and she purses her lips in anticipation. I move my other hand to the back of her head and bring it down to her slender neck and watch as her eyes open and widen in surprise. I choke her and grab my pocket knife I always carry with me. I hover it just below her collar bone, fire rushing through me as it pierces her percaline skin. She shreicks and tears away from me.

"I thought you loved me!" she screams at me.

"Leave,"I yell at her, Lee comes and stands at my side, his fur bristling. I watch as tears form in her eyes and she pivots on her heel and runs into the surrounding fog.
