Hello my loves,
This is the 4th installment on this series. I keep getting feelings from this that makes me want to tell it from different angles. This one I'll admit it caught me by surprise. I just wrote without thinking. It's told from Rebekah's point of view. She tells you their story as she sees it.
I hated her from day one
Because
I saw it from the first moment
The way he looked at her
A fleeting look it seemed
Yet
His eyes widened
As if in recognition
Before they moved on
But
He took in everything
The bounce of her hair
Her skin
Her expressive eyes
And
I saw it all too
She wasn't resigned
Loyalty
Even in the face of futility
She fought for what was hers
Who
Was but an experiment to me
To Nik he was a promise
Everything depended on the dog's life
The last 1000 years
With so much
On his way to the finish line
As he was about to cross
Still
Nik still found time to look.
The looking was not important
The girl's beautiful
It used to injure my soul to admit it
Though I deemed her insignificant
Like the others
He would too
Take what he wanted
Continue without a hitch
He made no moves
That was the tell-tell
My brother had never known restrain
He would have grabbed her
Seduced her
Eat her
Discard her
Maybe kill her
That was his way
Despite her protest she would cave
Like many before her
He would have ended up in her tight jeans
My brother is a savage
