After dave got operated on by some doctors they found out that daves wounds were worse then they had originally thought, the one thing they took notice to was the clothing piece covering daves neck it was from attempt of hanging, the next thing they found was that dave had multiple untreated cuts all over this body from a knife. Sollux was worried as he could be but he kept his cool as they did some surgery on dave to close up the wounds.
A few hours later visiting time was over with but sollux was able to stay because dave asked a doctor to let his boyfriend stay with him through the night so he wouldn't be alone in a dark quiet empty room and the doctors allowed him to as long as he didn't mess anything up in the hospital. They soon brought dave back to his room and left him there with sollux.
"Hey captor you okay your shaking more then I do when I don't have any AJ?"
"Y-yeah iim fiine dave ju2t a liitle worriied about you."
Dave didn't say a word to sollux as the night when on owls making noise crickets chirping and a slightly romantic wind comming from the window that was open ajar. Dave then moved over to give sollux some room to lay on the bed. Sollux got in bed with dave and let him cuddle his chest all he wanted to he did love him after all.
