My Brother Comes To Visit (Green Day)

Chapter Five

-----Faith’s P.O.V-----

                I almost couldn’t believe what I saw. “How long have you been standing there?” I asked him, also wondering how he managed to get in here.

                “Not very long, but long enough. I heard Eliza say to come in and I heard you yelling.” He explained looking all nervous.

                “When did you tell him to come in and why?” I turned toward Eliza and gave her a tiny death glare.

                Eliza put her hands up and started talking. “Right now what Eliza is going to do is slowly back out of this room and let you two talk. Then when Eliza gets out of the room she is defiantly not going to tell the other people awake about this.”

                I snorted, “Yeah, and Faith isn’t going to gouge Eliza’s eyes out in the next 24 hours.”

                “Good, then both Eliza and Faith get what they want!” Eliza backed out of the room and shut the door so Billie and I ‘could’ talk. They say could, but in reality, we have no choice at all.

                I looked at Billie and he took a deep breath. “So, you like me back?”

-----Eliza’s P.O.V-----

                I shut the door behind me as I walked out and I locked it from the inside so they couldn’t get out unless I let them. They needed to talk about whatever they had to talk about. The sooner Faith was back to normal, the better everything would be.

                I walked downstairs to the game room to see who was still up and I just saw Tre. I knew both Mike and Damian were people who didn’t last very long at night unless they had alcohol in their system so it wasn’t a surprise. “Hey bro.” I said to Tre sitting down beside him.

                “Sup little sis.”

                “Oh nothing much, just the usual like locking Faith and Billie in a room together that I have the key to when both people know the other likes them. Nothing new, you know.” Tre turned to me with a surprised look on his face.

                “Seriously?! After three years each one finally knows?!”

                “Yep! Billie came into Faith’s room while we were talking about it and she had that look that said that she wanted to gouge my eyes out.”

                “That is amazing! Maybe this will make Billie be less annoying talking about her all the time!” He laughed and then threw his head back. What am I saying?! He’ll talk about her more now!” I smiled and shook my head.

                “At least they might actually be happy.” He nodded and agreed.

                “So little sis, what have you been up to for the past six months?” He asked turning toward me so we could have a conversation.

                “Oh, nothing much new, just been practicing with the band and looking for places that will let us perform. So far it’s only been at this local bar, and even then, Hailey set that up.” I said in a kind of disappointed voice.

                “Hailey who? I didn’t know you had a friend named Hailey.” He said looking confused.

                “Oh yeah, she is one of the only girls that I actually get along with. Its Hailey Williams, you know the lead singer of Paramore? I went to her concert a couple months back and Faith and I got back stage passes so we got to meet her. We mentioned our band and she said she would love to hear it. So, about a week later she came to one of our practices and she has been getting us small gigs ever since.”
