chapter 9

So today I woke up kinda feeling nervous. I got out of bed and took a shower. While I was in the shower I kept thinking about Ciara, and how everything's been going wrong. I really like her but my family is so off the wall. Why can't they just accept her. I really like this girl she's different from other people, but they just can't see that why can't they just be happy for me ugh.

1 week passes

I'm so nervous so today I'm going to bring Ciara to meet my family,hopefully they are on there best behavior. I take a shower get dressed, brush my teeth and head out to the car. While I walk up to the car gotta check myself out in the mirror lol. So I hop in the car and head over to Ciara's house. I'm at a red light and I just keep thinking about what might happen tonight gosh it's so nerve racking. I pull up to Ciara's house. I get out the car walk up to the door bell and ring it. Her father opens the door.

Ciara's dad- Hey cam come on in

I walk into the house.

Ciara's dad- So your gonna take care of my baby girl tonight right?

He smacks me on the back.

Cameron- Yea of course, always
Ciara's dad- haha you better or Ima take care of you, got that son

I swallow my spit.

Cameron- yea got it.

Ciara comes walking down the states. She looks really pretty. I feel like we are going to prom or something lmao. But no just to my family ugh.

Cameron- Hey beautiful you ready
Ciara- lol yea are you
Cameron- ha I hope I am

I open the door for her and she walked out. We start walking to the car. Ciara's dad is standing at the door watching us as we leave.

Ciara's dad- Remember son take care of her or I'll take care of you.

He waves at me.

I open the car door for Ciara then I get into the car.

Cameron- your dad kinda scared me.
Ciara- lol I'm so used to it.
Cameron- i like him tho

I take a deep breath in.

Cameron-you ready?
Ciara- yea lets go.

I start driving. I love talking to Ciara she so fun to talk to. The whole ride we just talked and laughed. We finally pull up to my moms house. I park the car get out and open the door up for Ciara. She gets out. I take another deep breath in.

Cameron- here we go, lord help me please
Ciara- Cam don't worry lol it's gonna be ok

We walk up to the door. I knock on it and wait for someone to open the door. My mom opens the door.

Cams mom- There he is.

She opens her arms up and hugs me. Then she looks at Ciara

Cams Mom- And this must be the lucky lady. Wow your a lot prettier than I thought.
Ciara-lol thank you I'm Ciara
Cams mom- well come here give me a hug

She grabs Ciara and hugs her. I look at Ciara while she's smashing her with hugs and she gives me a smile and thumbs up as her face is being smashed lol.

Cams mom- Well come on in. Everyone's here they can't wait to meet you.
Cameron- oh god everyone mom?
Cams mom- yes cam everyone now hush up

My mom leads us to the dinner table. Everyone was there. My mom, Mariah, Grandma, and my dad the only person missing is my brother. We sit down at the table.

Cams mom- well introduce her silly
Cameron- oh yea lol Ciara this is my mom, grandma and my dad.

All of a sudden

Cams Brother- Don't forget me!!!!

I looked over and it was my brother I stood up and gave him a hug.

Cam- oh yea lol and my brother Johnny
Ciara- nice to meet you

We sat at the table. My mom at one end my dad at the other end, Ciara next to my mom and I'm next to Ciara, my brother is sitting across from Ciara while my grandma and Mariah are sitting across from me.

Cams dad- so young lady what do you like to do?
Ciara- well I like to Draw
Cams mom- oh so your an artist how nice
Cams grandma-I wish I could draw only thing I could ever draw was a stick and even that was bad
Cams dad- well maybe one day you can show us those drawings
Ciara- yea sure someday lol
Johnny-yea I would love to see those drawings lol

We start to eat everything was going really good so far. I was surprised.

Ciara's point of view

Cameron's family is nice so far, and his mom is a really good cook. His mom made mashed potatoes, baked chicken breast, black eyed pees, Mack and cheese, and broccoli with bread.

Ciara- this is really good
Cams mom- you think so lol I was gonna make fried chicken but I'm not sure if you wanted that.
Cameron- mom really
Ciara- it's ok lol
Mariah- yea if you need hot sauce it's in the cabinet, and sorry if she didn't season the food to the death.

Here this little witch go. But I'm keep it cool for the sake of Cameron.

Ciara- no it's seasoned just fine thank you very much

Mariah just rolled her eyes at me and continued eating.

Cams dad- So Ciara is that your real hair?
Cameron- Dad omfg come on now
Cams mom- Mariah told me it was real I think it is really honey.
Mariah- pull it see if it'll come out lol

I'm just sitting here eating this good food while the talk shit about if my hair is real or not. They lucky this food good. So while these people are talking mess I see Johnny just staring at me. The whole time I've been sitting here he's been looking at me.

Cameron- so next subject please
Cams dad- So Cameron how the apartment doing you and Nash?
Cameron- Its good just need to get pest control get this little flea out of my house

Cam said looking at Mariah

Mariah- ha I'm a flea you and Nash are gay af so haha
Cams mom- hey watch your language
Ciara- where is your bathroom

Johnny said he would show me where the bathroom is. I got up and he led me to the bathroom. We walked down this really long hallway Then turned a corner and finally there was the bathroom. As I proceeded to walk in the bathroom Johnny walked in after me and closed the door.

Ciara- um what are you doin
Johnny- I saw you looking at me at the table
Ciara- yea because you where looking at me
Johnny - shhh it's ok I like my girls chocolate

Wtf. He pushes me up against a wall and tries to kiss me. I push him away and tell him to stop, but he just grabbes my arms. So I kneed him in the nuts

Ciara- you perv

Mariah point of view

Ciara and Johnny have been gone for a while. I excuse myself from the table. I'm walking down the hallway when I hear a loud thump. I stand by the wall and listen. I can hear Ciara and Johnny talking.  I look over and Ciara's walking out of the bathroom looking mad. I step Infront of her.

Mariah- where's my brother
Ciara- on the floor, move
Mariah- no what did you do to him
Ciara- can you move please

I see Johnny come out of the bathroom holding his nuts. I move away from Ciara and run to Johnny

Mariah- what happend to you?
