[You and Jacob have been best friends since you guys were little kids, way before MB had started. Since then, you guys manage to talk all the time and hang out when he can. Today was one of those days when he had one of his days off, and using it to chill with you. // Kayla.]
Hers..
Lucky for me, my parents went to work so they wouldn't see the mess were making on the couch. Popcorn, juice, candy, even Taco Bell; we went all out for today. I haven't seen Jacob in a couple weeks, due to the tour coming up. To celebrate before he leaves, we had one of our signature movie-pig-out days. So far, we're watching Grave Encounters on Netflix from the floor.
"Why are they spliting up?! That's how they're gonna die!" Jacob shouted.
"I know! Don't they watch scary movies?" I replied. Typical stuff. Whenever something scary happened, he'd put one hand over his eyes and shove popcorn in his mouth with the other. "OH SHIT!" I hid into the cushions of the couch when something crazy occured and Jacob would just laugh at me.
"Get over it, you big baby haha," he mocked.
"Whatever, at least this movie doesnt suck.." I murmured. An hour later, the movie ended so we listened to PTV on our ends of the couch as we ate until we felt like watching something else. "Hey Kayla.." Jacob said.
"Yes," I responded while digging into a bucket of ice cream.
"Can I be honest with you real quick?" I looked up to him. "When have you ever needed to ask to be honest with me? C'mon now. Spill it."
"True.. but I just sorta hate all this. All the touring and stuff. I mean, I love the fans and the experience but it all comes with a cost.. negativity; all these rumors and bullshit. It's too much sometimes but what is there I can do about it?.." He took a long pause as he looked into the bowl of popcorn.
I put my bucket of ice cream down and sat myself closer to him. "Listen, one thing you can do is ignore it. Knowing you, you've been thru alot and seeing that you're still here obviously proves that you're stronger than all those things you hear. Plus, you got a good thing going for you and the others and no one should be able to take that away from you, just because they're dicks. Fuck the negativity. Ok?" He smirked and gave me a big bear hug. "..thank you. What would I be without you?"
"Probably a bigger loser, haha." He shoved my shoulder and went back to eating popcorn. "But really, we're best friends 'til the end. Got that?" he said holding his pinky out. "'til the end," I replied, seeling our pinky promise. One thing's for sure, it's not legit to us if there's no pinky promise.
"So what's next?" he added. I thought about it and came up with an idea. "Another movie and pizza?"
"Fine but I'm sending your ass to the gym after this!" I gave him the middle finger and put on another movie. Every now and then, we would talk about basically everything. It's times like these you really appreciate our friendship.
