The Boy Next Door

Chapter three~

" Dinners Ready." I heard a nock on my door. " Ok I'll be down in a moment." I started to get up. " Hurry up. Don't want your dinner to get cold. Oh and I have invited my neighbors. I wanted them to meet you."

" Ok." I closes the balconys door and went to the bathroom. I touched up on my makeup. I like my makeup casual. Not to dark not to plain.

I put some pink lipgloss on and I heard the doorbell ring and my dad talking to someone I assumed is the neighbors and go down the stairs.

" Oh here she is.'' My dad pointed to me as I go down the stairs. " Wow she looks just like you john." " Um Hello"

I say smiling at them I notice that the boy I saw in the window was standing by I assumed is his mother.

" Hey i'm Luke." He smiles at me and holds out his hands. I gladly shake his hands and smile sweetly at him.

" Hi I'm Sam." He smiles and I think I am going to faint. He has sparkling white teeth. " Nice to meet you Sam."

I turn back to my dad. " This." He points at the woman with short jet black hair. " Is Johanna." I held out my hand she pushed it aside and grabed me into I bear hug.

I glanced at luke he was chuckling to himself. She finally let go of me and pointed to her husband. " This is Bob."

I was afriad that I will be crushed by Bob. He smiles at me and said hello.

" Well dinners ready if anyone wants some." We all chuckled and followed him to the dining room.

We sat down at the table and started eating. " So Sam, will you be going to school here or you just staying for the summer?" She took a bite of ham. " I will be staying here for the summer. I attend Mckinley High School."

" Oh that's good. Luke tell her about high school here.''

He looked at his mom and rolls his eyes. " I have a 4.0 GPA.''. I took notice in this because I was the smartest person in my classes and I only have a 3.5 GPA.

" Uh and I am in chest cl-". I stopped him right then. " Chest Club?" I asked him in a boring manner. I didn't even realized that I said that. " I uh... mean that's cool." I put my head down and took a bite of my food.

" Yeah Kinda." He smiled at me.

"Thanks for having us." Johanna said giving my dad a hug then me. "The food was amazing." Bob said giving my dad a shake. "Thanks." Luke said with a smile. " Bye." I said to them when they leave.

Luke gave me a wink and I felt the heat from my cheeks. Why did he wink at me?

I went up to my room after saying goodnight to my dad. It's been a long day and all I wanted to do is sleep.

I felt the darkness take over me.
