I wake up from the most horrible nightmare ever!!! All my family and friends I care about (yes, I have some family members and friends I don't particularly like as much as the others) were killed by random ninjas and I was the only one left on Earth. I know it doesn't sound that bad but it was really vivid and made me believe it was real. I reached for Bailey's head that was on the other side of the bed. Or should've been! Where was she?! She always sleeps with me and wakes me up the next morning!

I started freaking out and looking around my room frantically. I jumped out of bed and ran down the hall to the extra bed room or as we refer to it as 'Bailey's room.' I looked in the corner where her bed was and there she lay with sadness in her eyes. She rarely ever lays in her bed. She only goes there when she's not feeling good. Well, it wasn't allergy season. We haven't changed her food or shampoo. What could it be?

I sat down on the floor in front of her bed. She stood up and tried walking to me. She whimpered. She wasn't limping or anything. Something inside her must be hurting.

"MOOOOM!" I screamed worried. My breathing increased rapidly because I was afraid I knew what it was. I ran down stairs and almost ran into her at the bottom of the staircase.

"Serenity! I was just coming upstairs to get you--" I cut her off.

"Mom, something's wrong with Bailey. She went in her room sometime last night and she whimpered when she got up. She wasn't limping or anything."

"Well, honey, Bailey's 13 years old. Do you think maybe it could be--"

"No! Don't even say that!" I screamed. I turned around to go back on the stairs but I saw a shadow standing by the front door. I didn't know someone was here. That's probably why Mom was coming to get me. I looked up at the owner of the shadow and saw Connor. And he just stood there staring at me with wide eyes. He just heard me talk.

I exchanged the same expression with him then ran upstairs to my room.

"Serenity!" Connor screamed swinging around the handrail that led upstairs.

I slammed my door shut and locked it so my mom or Connor or Sierra could come in.

He heard me speak. He's the first to ever hear me speak. Avery and Chris haven't even heard me speak. Literally, I'm shaking right now. I feel, I feel....violated. I don't even feel safe enough to talk in my own home.

I heard my mom's muffled voice tell Connor, "Just give her a little bit of time. She just needs to take a breather and relax for a bit."

"Alright," I heard Connor reply. Then I heard the front door open and shut. I guess he left.

I unlocked my door and looked into the hallways just to be sure he left and it wasn't anyone else. I slowly crept down the stairs and my mom was standing in the same place when I ran upstairs a few minutes ago, except her arms were open wide for a hug. I ran down the steps and wrapped my arms tightly around her. I cried softly into her shirt, leaving a wet stain when I moved my head away to look up at her.

She knew what I wanted to say. "Yes, he'll come back. I saw the way he looked at you when you ran back upstairs. He really likes you. You have no idea," she mumbled the last part under her breath.

I figured since I had something planned for later for us, us being Connor and myself, this would come up in the conversation. I wasn't ready yet but I had a little while to prepare. I walked back upstairs to my room and got everything ready for what I had planned later.

~LATER~

Okay, everything was set up. I had everything ready. All I had to do was get Connor. I still couldn't drive and I figured it would be better if he wasn't driving. So I called Chris (oh and just in case you were wondering, it's not the Chris that just went on tour with them. This Chris has brown hair, big brown eyes, and freckles across the top of his cheeks and a big smile :$) ). He could drive & I figured he wouldn't mind driving us & picking us up when we were finished.
