New chapter yay!! I'm in a good mood because I had a successful day of stalking. ;P

CHAPTER 2:: Forbidden

*Emery's POV*

I wake the next morning at six and get out bed. I stretch and go to the bathroom. Turning on the shower I strip and get in. The warm water relaxes me and I run through everything I learned about trigonometry. That's the exam I have today. It's not long, it's pretty short but trigonometry takes a long time.

After my shower I put on my new haters crop top and ripped skinny jeans. I grab my star necklace and a few rings as I walk out of my room. Downstairs I slip in my knee high boots and put on my beanie. I grab my car keys from the table and snag my white backpack as I walk out the door.

In my car I turn in the radio and drive away from mine and Eleanor's flat. On the drive I can't help but notice some fans following my car. I groan and speed up some.

They don't slow down so, I decide to take the twisty route to the University of Manchester. When I loose the fans I sigh and relax again.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I just don't like being followed or stalked. It makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm sure you'd feel the same way as well.

When I get to the University, I park and head into the building. As soon as I walk in I run into my best friend Cher. Like I literally smack into her. "Emery!" She exclaims. "Hey, Cher." I say and hug her back. "I was waiting for you. Shall we get to class?" Cher says, looping her arm through mine.

In class, Cher and I sit next to each other and chat while we wait. "So your going to see the boys after the exam?" She asks. "Yeah, El should be done by then." I say. "Can I come? Please?" Cher begs. I sigh and think for a minute.

Would that be ok? I'm sure the boys would love her but, is this supposed to be just us? I don't know, maybe Cher shouldn't come. What am I saying? She's my best friend! Eleanor and I both love her, she's like our other sister. Cher is coming, that's final.

"Yes you can come. I'll give you the address after class." I say as the teacher walks in.

After the exam, I give Cher the address for the Starbucks and go to my car. I find a note on my windshield that reads:

Won't be done for a while. Let the boys know. -Eleanor p.s. yes Cher can come! xx

I smile as I read it and get in the car. Well, now I get to be alone with One Direction and Cher at Starbucks. This should turn out good.

That wasn't sarcasm if you were wondering. I'm actually excited, I want to know what they think of Cher and how they react to..... well, her. I start the car and drive towards the Starbucks. It's not far and I'm pretty sure Cher will be there right after me. I get out of my car and go in to order.

I was right, Cher was right behind me. She gets in line with me and we start up a conversation. "So are you excited?" I ask. Cher nods, barely suppressing that excitement. "I am totally excited! Are you?" Cher asks. "I've met them before. I only fangirled when I first met them." I say as if it's obvious and we burst out laughing. "What do you want?" I ask. Cher looks at the menu and says "Vanilla bean, the usual." The. She goes to get us a spot.

"How may I help you?" The guy at the register asks. "Can I get one grande vanilla bean frappe, with extra whipped cream, and a grande cotton candy frappe?" I ask and the guy nods, putting in the order. "Who's the vanilla bean for?" The guy asks. "Cher and the other is for me, Emery." I say and he writes our names down. "They'll be ready in a minute." He says and I nod. I go and wait by the other door.

I pull out my phone and go on Instagram. Suddenly someone bear hugs me from behind and says in my ear "Who are you and what have you done with my girlfriend?" I jump and look up to see Louis.

Eleanor may be almost as tall as him but I'm about an inch or two shorter. That's a good thing, right? I mean, I'm not one for heels, but I still don't have to worry about being taller than him. That's awesome, right? No? Ok.

"Her class was running late, so she won't be here for a while." I say, laughing. "Oh, well alright then." Louis says letting me go. "Did you already order?" I nod, and the frappes come out. "My friend, Cher, and I have a table waiting outside." I say then walk out and over to Cher.

"The boys are here." I say, casually. By look on her face, she's about to burst with joy. "Cher calm down. If you have to fangirl now, run and scream into your car." I warn. She looks at me and we both crack up.

"No I'm fine." Cher says, as calmly as she can. Then we both take a sip of our drinks and wait on the boys. "Wow this is really good!" I say and Cher reaches over for a sip. Of course I let her, there's really nothing I can do to stop her.

The boys come back out with drinks and food. "Boys this is my best friend Cher. Cher these are the boys." I say, reaching for Louis' muffin and taking a bite. "This is good. Banana nut?" I say and Lou nods and says "Yep, now give it back." I laugh and hand him the muffin. "Perrie is coming too." Zayn says. I nod and glance at Cher who is in deep conversation with Niall and Liam. "Yeah, so is Gemma." Harry says and once again I nod.

After a bit, both Gemma and Perrie show up but there's no sign of Eleanor. "I'm gonna go call her." I say, standing up. I walk over to my car and dial El's number. "Hello?" She says. "Hey, where are you?" I ask. I can hear music, so I know she's in the car. "I'm on my way. I'm sorry, the professor was running late." She says. "Ok, we'll be here." I say and we hang up.

I sigh and run a hand through my hair. "She on the way?" I hear Louis' voice ask from behind me. "Yeah." I say nodding. I turn around and am surprise at how close he actually was. "Um, s-she, uh, should be here soon." I stammer. Louis smiles and what happens next is so fast I don't have time to react.

Lou leans down and kisses me, flat out kisses me! Right on the mouth too. My I mind twists and I know I should pull away but I can't. Wait, what am I saying? This is Eleanor's, my own sister's, boyfriend. I have to pull away!

Reluctantly I do and Louis smiles down at me. I smile back, he's not a bad kisser at all.

Then the full weight of this hits us. We freeze and stare at each other. That didn't just happen. But it did and you enjoyed it, an inner voice says. "We- um, I..." I stammer trying to find the right words. "I have to go!" I blurt out then get in my car. Before Louis can protest, I start the car and leave.

On the drive home I hold my tears in. "I can't believe I just betrayed my own sister!" I tell at myself. Relax. Relax. Must relax. But I can't! My mind whirls with what Eleanor might say or do. "This, this isn't good. I can't believe I did that!" I wail.

When I pull into the driveway, I get out, grab my school bag and keys and go inside. Throwing my stuff down I rush upstairs and lock myself in the bathroom.

That's when tears spill over my lashes. I betrayed her! She's gonna hate me now! Why did I have I kiss him back? Why?

Wait, maybe I do like him, like a lot. Maybe that happened for a reason. No! Snap out of it! That didn't happen for any reason! That was forbidden! I am forbidden to love Louis, for one reason and one reason only. He belongs to my sister.

I sigh and let my back slide down the door. "This is where I will wait." I tell myself. I force my muscles to relax a bit and pull my knees up to my chest. Letting my head drop, I wrap my arms around my legs and sit there. Waiting.
