I woke up to Adam laying next to me. I feel like all of this is just a dream, I had the most amazing day yesterday! I'm so looking forward to today... I can't wait to see what he as planned for us. I'm so in love with this man... I turned around and looked at Adam's sweet face. His lips spread slightly apart, letting out a soft snore. I just smiled at him. He has probably spent months planning for this big honeymoon.... So I decided to get up and make him a nice breakfast too wake up to. I went into the kitchen, grabbed the bread out of the cupboard, and popped it into the toaster while I walked over to the fridge, got the eggs out, and grabbed a pan on my way to the stove. I quickly turned the stove on and placed the pan on top of it, attempting to crack eggs quietly. I dropped one on the floor, little did I know, Adam just happened to be a light sleeper, and awoke to the sound of literally, a scrambled egg.
"What... are you doing?" Adam asked me in his morning voice.
"Trying to cook you breakfast..." I said, picking up the cracked egg up off the ground.
"Well, you're doing better than me so far." He replied, lightening up the embarrassing moment.
"But should that really be a compliment?" I teased back.
"Hey now!" He said jokingly, "Go get dressed, I'll take over in here." He chuckled, and gently took the spatula out of my hand.
"OK..." I walked over to the bed and took a seat, reaching under the bed I pulled out our luggage and rummaged through the assorted clothes looking for number '2'. After a few minutes, I found lucky number '2'.
"What the heck is this?" I said, holding up a scuba suit.
"It's what we are doing today..." Adam said, flipping the fried egg.
"We are going scuba diving?" I asked.
"Mhmm..." I ran into the bathroom, got dressed in the suit, put on the flippers and walked out.
"When are we leaving?"
"As soon as you finished this." He said, handing me a plate with an egg and a piece of toast on it. We quickly shoved the food in our mouths and Adam got dressed in his scuba suit. I put the scuba mask on and said
"Are you ready?"
"As ready as I'll ever be." He said, I laughed.
"You look ridiculous!"
"Yeah, I know." We both started laughing. He wasn't too stoked about open water but, I loved it! I loved seeing all the fish, and all of the beautiful coral reefs. I have been diving before, I just can't wait to do it in FIJI!
We were all suited up, Adam and I walked over to the ocean literally three feet away from our little resort. He grabbed my hand we jumped in together. The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was the resort behind us! I could see everything in there! As we continued swimming forward, we started seeing beautiful schools of fish. Off to the left are some mesmerizing coral reefs, It had pink coral, purple coral, and somewhere in between coral. There were bright orange masses on the ocean floor, and there were massive turtles swimming right next to us! The sea life was absolutely amazing, breathtaking even. Then all of the sudden I looked to the right of us and there was a bottlenose dolphin! I starting squealing away, singing lovely songs. Adam's voice chimed into my radio
"Grab onto the dorsal fin. Hold on tight." As he said this, another one swam right up next to Adam! Adam and I grabbed on to the fin. We were swimming with dolphins! Both of the dolphins stuck together and swam deeper and deeper into the waters. Adam and I looked at each other and just treasured this moment together. After a while, we let go of the dolphins and swam back... It was getting late and we needed to head back to the shack before it got too dark.
As we swam up to the shore the effects of gravity started to weigh back in. Adam used his strong muscles to pull himself up onto the shore, while I was stuck trying to crawl my way onto it. When Adam noticed I was crawling behind him, he turned around and gently raised me up.
"There you go." He said smiling.
"Thanks." I said still trying to get my balance on land. We walked into the shack and then downstairs to our room.
"I' m going to take a bath." I said taking off my equipment.
"Ok" Adam said turning around to give me privacy. I hopped in and out of the bath as quickly as I could! I was eager to get into my nice warm sheets after being in the freezing ocean for hours on end.
When I walked into the main room, Adam was already relaxing on the bed. I walk out in my towel and sucked up my nerves. My hand clenched the towel even harder. I walked over and sat on the bed, I leaned over and gently placed a kiss on his lips. I felt his jaw clench as he slowly removed my towel.
