Yesterday was insane; Charles couldn't believe we were there and it looked like he couldn't believe what happened to himself either.

"... So, when I woke up, I looked out for you guys; for everyone! But I couldn't find you... then, I tried to call home but my phone still didn't work and, the last thing for me to do was to step outside, you know? But, when I was almost there, someone knocked me out and when I woke up I was in that room... I don't know how many times I woke up and passed out... I don't even remember eating, but I guess someone fed me somehow because, otherwise, I would've been dead..."

Listening to Charles' story made me shiver; two years "living" like that. When he was done, I explained to him and to everybody how they could leave but me and, just as I was done, the Creep Guy added "There will always be a car waiting outside with your loved ones ready to take you home... you have my word; I am only interested in Isabelle..."

Of course, everyone doubted those words, but Peter looked out through one of the windows and said that there was a black car parked just in front of the entrance.

Charles, excited and confused, stood out of the main door and almost immediately his mother, older sister and his three older brothers where getting off the car.

We all looked surprised; I returned inside for a moment and yelled "You promise they'll be safe and sound and that you won't mess up with any of them? With any of the people I rescue?" to which he replied with a "You have my word."

Charles ran to his family and they all hugged and cried with joy and happiness. Charles' mom waved at us and said "Thank you" with tears in her eyes and Charles, while his family was getting inside the car again, quickly came back to say goodbye.

"Look, Isabelle..." he said. "I don't know if you're behind this or not, and I'm sorry if I hurt you but I can't remember much so, anyway, thank you for coming back..."

Even though he couldn't remember that day as vividly as I can, the fact that he still says he's sorry when he's not sure of what he did to me means a lot. I smiled at him as I saw him getting into the car and on his way home.

Again, yesterday was insane and today is a new day.

I woke up, brushed my teeth, got dressed with my black jeans and a simple loose pink tank top, got some breakfast and headed to the Dark Room.

When I was about to go inside I heard something falling so I turned around on a reflex to see what it was. There was nothing on the ground, but I noticed something strange on the walls of the West Corridor of the second floor. It wasn't far from where I was standing so I could perfectly see it; the wallpaper was coming off and it looked like behind it was a door.

I wanted to see what's really behind it, but I decided to check on it after today's test.

...

I'm still lying on the dentist's chair, but the medium machine isn't around; neither the wires. I can only see my body and hear two male voices around me.

"She is too unstable!"

"We must try this on her!"

"Have you lost your mind? If we do it she might die! We haven't tested that yet..."

"With MORE reasons!"

I have no idea of what's going on; I just look around me and see some shadows. The shadows start taking shape into what seems to be doctors; figures with long white coats and a metallic instrument around their necks.

"Oh no, she has woken up; Prepare a new charge!"

It's now when I realize how dizzy I am, as if I was under the influence of anesthesia or something. Everything looks weird and it feels like the room is moving.
