Something was off.

It was the day of our escape, but the thing that would trigger our plan was me going through a test and rescuing someone else. The problem is that there's no one for me to rescue.

I went into the Dark Room even when the Creep Guy didn't call me and nothing was there. No equipment, no chair, no cables, no anything. I tried calling out for him, but he didn't reply.

"Do you think he heard our plan?" Asked August.

"I don't think so," said Ronald. "I think he would've done something if he knew, I mean, it's been like two days since we talked about the plan."

"So what do we do know?" Asked Moth.

I had called my friends to my room to talk about our situation, but with no rescue there was only one thing left to do to get an extra car.

"One of you has to leave," I say. "If he's still keeping his promise, then at least a car will show up to pick you up and take you home."

Everyone nodded.

"Who will it be?" Asked Cindy. "Anyone can leave, right?"

"I can do it," said Moth.

"Can you drive?" I ask. "You'll be taking down the chofer and driving that car."

Moth sighed. "No, I can't drive."

"Are we really doing this you guys?" Asked Christ. "I don't think it'll work. Plus, Isabelle you even said you'd be done soon so why not just finish what you started?"

"Because it'll never end," I say. It hurts that Christ is still doubting me and the reason why we're escaping. "The nightmares, the search, nothing will. As long as he has me whatever plan he and his father have will continue and I don't want to help them after everything they've done to me, to us."

Christ scratched his head. "This is dangerous..."

The room went silent. I know this is dangerous, no one could understand what is actually going through my mind right now but there's no way I'm not doing this. I've had enough.

"Okay, I'll do it," Christ sighed. "I can drive,"

I thought about it for a second. He just said he didn't want to do this, but I guess he knows me and I won't change my mind no matter what. If he's the one leaving, would it really work? Wouldn't it be suspicious than someone that has supported me suddenly decides to leave? Who could leave that wouldn't look so suspicious?

Val...

Valerye. It would be more believable if she leaves. If the Creep Guy saw what happened on our last day at the School then he could actually believe our little act.

"Where's Valerye?" I ask.

"In the Dinner with her parents," said Ronald. "But what are you-?"

I immediately got up and walked out of the room. It would be dark soon and if we were really going to do this, it had to be now.

When I entered the Dinner I saw Valerye drinking some red wine with her mom and my parents. I hope that they aren't drunk because they wouldn't be able to drive like that and our plan would go down the toilet.

"Valerye," I say. "I need you to leave,"

They all looked at me. Jasmine looked worried. "What? What is going on?"

Valerye said nothing, she just listened.

"I'm not rescuing anyone today," I explain. "So I need her to say that she wants to go home without you so a car comes to pick her up."
