Chapter 1

Clarke p.o.v

The summer break was amazing, all I did was hang out with my friends Octavia, raven, Bellamy, Murphy, jasper, monty and my boyfriend Finn. Me and Finn have been growing apart lately, he been quite mean to me but after the shouting he pretends like it didn't happen and yeah it pisses me off by I'm dealing with it.

It the first day of school and of course I forget to set my alarm and I'm going to be late, I quickly throw on jeans and a short sleeved white shirt I run down stairs grab some money for luch. My mums at the hospital working so I grab my keys as lock the door behind me as I run out.
I only like like 5 minuets away from school so it wasn't that far to run. When I got there I caught my breath and headed to my first class which was art.
"Late on your first day of school I see Mrs griffin"
"Sorry sir"
"You better not keep this up, last year I let you off but if your late again it's a detention"
I walk over to my seat where Octavia was laughing at me, I jab her in the side
"Hey what always that for?"
"Why didn't you text me to wake me up"
"I assumed that you weren't gunna sleep in on the first day of school"
She said this while laughing but suddenly stopped when the teacher gave her a stare
" why do you take art anyway, I swear you don't even draw"
"It was this or drama, and why can't I just wanna be in a class with you clarkyyy"
"Don't call me that"

*lunch time*

I walk over to the table me and my friends normally hang out at, I take a seat next to Finn and he puts his arm around me, I don't know why but I feel so uncomfortable but I don't want to move or he will get mad. We hear a loud crash behind us and we all turn. There was a kid on the floor with a group of people who looked ruff with tattoos everywhere, the short black girl with short black hair and a tattoo on her face picked the kid up and pushed him out of the cafeteria
"INDRA! Why do you gotta be such an ass"
"Don't tell me your going soft Lexa"

Lexa...... The beautiful girl with the leather jacket and long brown hair who looked like their leader, there is something about her but I just don't know what it is.
" No"
Lexa said as she stood up, Indra took a step back like she was afraid, I didn't understand why though, Indra may be short but she looked strong and to be honest Lexa doesn't look like she would have a chance agains her.

"Indra if a teacher see and gets us kicked out again, I won't be able to go to college, now do you want me to not go to college?"
"No sorry Lexa"
Lexa's voice was so strong, like she had no weaknesses
Indra suddenly turned to see me staring, I quickly turned around pretending I saw nothing. Murphy then leaned in and started to whisper
"Who the fuck are those asshole"
"I don't know but they seem dangerous, but that guy with stubble and a shaved head is hot"
"Octavia stop window shopping for boys"
"Sorry raven, are you getting jealous?"
At that comment we all laughed but suddenly the bell went and we had to go to class, I stood up but Finn pulled me back down
"Hey princess, how about we skip class and do something fun?"
"No Finn, if my mum found out she would kill me"
I tried to get free of him but he didn't let go of my arm
"Don't be like that, come on"
"Finn I really need to go to class"
He stood up in anger, like he was about to hit me but suddenly I felt someone grab my arm and push Finn away
"Dude she wants to go to class, don't be a dick"
It was Lexa, her hand was so gentle yet she held my arm so tight. Finn walked off and gave me a glare, when he was out of sight Lexa let go of me and walked away. I tried to stop her to say thank you but she was too quick.

*after school*
I got a message from Finn as I left class
Finn-hey princess wanna hang out after school?
I hated it when he called me that
Me- actually can you just meet me at the front of the school
Finn-yeah sure thing
This is it, I'm going to break up with him, I walked to the front of the school and it was raining, I didn't bring a jacket so I was getting soaked. After like 5 minuets Finn arrived.
"Hey princess"
"Um hey Finn look, I don't think this is working out, I think we should break up"
He just stood there and stared at me, then without a word he walked away in to his car and drove off, splashing me with a puddle as he drove past me. Dam it now I'm soaked and freezing and I still have to walk home
"Hey?"
I turned around to see who it was speaking to me, it was Lexa?
"Hey"
"Are you okay you seem a bit wet?"
"Oh yeah, nah I'm fine just forgot my coat"
She started to take her leather jacket off and handed it to me, I put it on with out braking eye contact
"Umm thanks?"
"Do you need a ride home?" She said this while lifting up her black bike helmet with a small smile. Wow her smile.
"It's fine I only live like 5 minuets away"
"Okay well I see you around Clarke"
Wait how did she know my name, and I still have her jacket but before I could return it she was off on her black moterbike, I'm not a great fan of them, and when I say that I mean I'm terrified of motorbikes.
I started to walk home while hovering the Janet over my head, I opened my door, took my wet shoes off and went to my room, I didn't really think about Finn all I could think about was Lexa.  I went to my small desk in the corner and pulled out my sketch book and started to draw her, but I didn't finish, I need to see her agin, oh and I also need to give her jacket back. I jumped in the shower and put the Jacket out to dry, I then payed on my bed and drifted off.
