"And here's the kitchen. The chefs here are all super cool and i'm sure you'll be made right at home." Demi smiled at the red head to the side of us before returning her gaze back to me "Thankyou.." My voice was weaker than usual, due to the persistent nervousness. "So, i think you've seen everything you need to.Now i advise you grab yourself a health and safety guide from the desk in the medical room because unfortunately Delagarza's won't be responsible for any accidents you cause and reading that thing is actually really helpful" throwing her jacket over her shoulder i assumed she had better things to do , so i agreed to her quietly"See you soon i guess selena, the other waitresses should be here in 20 minutes to grab yourself a uniform, i'm sure Erin should show you where it is, she's over there. Get to work love, i'll check on you in a couple hours" I smiled at her, incredibly grateful for the job she had given me. "i'll see you soon i guess, thankyou so much"

"I didn't know Demi had finally found a new waitress" Erin pointed out. She had introduced herself to me a couple of hours ago, before work started and now we finally had a break and time to talk. She was the head chef here at Delagarza's and apparently she was amazing at her job. Well, according to Tori. I hadn't gotten a chance to taste the food yet, but it looked beautiful. "I only called yesterday and got an interview for today. i got the job and here i am i guess" What i had said seemed surprising to her, as if this doesn't happen regularly but come on, i applied to be a waitress. What skills do i really need?.

"You got the job that quickly? Wow. Demi usually has to asses everything about the person. It's a family business you know, she wants everything to be perfect around here. Including the waiting sta-" Erin stopped herself mid word when a familiar face slid into the kitchen, obviously aware that we were on lunch break. "Hey Lovato! What's up Lilly?" Being so aware that Demi had arrived, i hadn't realized the short, blonde lady standing next to Demi. "Hey Erin, did you make any Doughnuts?" 'Lilly' asked, reaching for a doctor pepper and leaning against the counter that Erin was currently wiping down "Hey! get off, i clean these for a reason god damn it. They're in the refrigerator, and aren't you supposed to be working?" The two girls seemed to know each other pretty well but my attention was slowly drifting elsewhere. Once i glanced a Demi, i couldn't keep my eye's off of her. She had changed in to something a little more formal than she had been wearing this morning. Maybe she had a meeting or something. "what are you both doing here? i thought you had that thing with your father today Dem" Erin asked, dropping the wash cloth in the sink and rinsing her hands. "I told selena i would check up on her" she smirked "So here i am.".

"New girls doing great"Erin giggled, amused by something i wasn't familiar with"Come on Erin, i'm sure she doesn't appreciate being referred to as 'new girl'" I didn't really mind, after all, i am the new girl but i appreciated Demi sticking up for me "You can leave now by the way Selena, the restaurant is closing early today because as you probably heard, i have a thing with my father"i nodded and grabbed my jacket, assuming i was probably allowed to take my waitress outfit with me. "I'll see you tomorrow boss" I smiled. "See you tomorrow, New girl" Before leaving, she swiftly winked in my direction. Damn, is it healthy to find your boos beautiful?. Let's hope so.
